Hard to review when they have been closed for nearly 7 months but it was a gem. Food and atmosphere was great when we went last year. I hope they will be able to open soon or just sell both locations to another restauranteur.
Split Restaurant between "My Cousin Vinny's". Can't order half the menu if not sitting at the bar. Mozzarella sticks are great.
I usually try to find the positive in places but this was all around a terrible experience. From reading other ratings, I hope it was just a bad night, if not they will go out of business in no time. Restaurant was super loud and we waited 15-20mins for our waitress to get to us. Then we waited over an hour more for food, not one person in our party liked their food. We all tried each others food and nothing was good. Not sure what went wrong but I hope they can turn it around. Waitress was polite and friendly.
I had heard great things about this restaurant, but our visit was far less than great. Three at my table ordered the crab lasagna. All three of us agreed that there was hardly any crab meat in it. There were crab shells, however. Maybe they threw those in just to make us think that actual crab meat was there too. I didn’t even eat mine. I took it home and let my husband try it. He agreed, no crab meat, just crab shells. I understand maybe they might not have had hardly any crabmeat that night, but the chef should not allow people to order things that they could not prepare properly. (They didn’t say they were out of crab meat, I was just thinking that maybe that was the reason for the lack of it.) The fact that all 4 of us that tasted it agreed, shows that it wasn’t just me being picky. The waitress was so nice none of us wanted to complain about our food.
Always good, I had the caprese salad with chicken for lunch. Great service and reasonable prices. I don't normally eat a lot for lunch and this salad was just right, but the entrees are very generous.
My family and I had a poor experience at Guido's tonight. My daughter and I each had chicken alfredo. The chicken was extremely dry and the sauce was mainly butter with no taste of parmesan cheese or garlic. Our waitress barely stopped at our table the entire time we were there and when she finally did, it was to fill our tea at the end of the meal. At that time we asked for the check. After we paid, our waitress handed us our receipt without so much as a goodnight or a thank you. Well, no thank you. We won't be back for a very long time
We had the bacon wrapped shrimp and the steak medallions. We did notice on the reviews/pictures online the menu prices fluctuate what seems almost daily. The bread was probably the best thing, but our food wasn't bad either. The steak was very tender but bland. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were good. The shrimp were average bacon wrapped shrimp. Not wowed so to speak but good.
Delicious food and wine, LARGE portions, quaint restaurant with a great history! We had a hard time deciding because there were so many creative selections!
This restaurant is fantastic! I'm from New Jersey and have had many wonderful "Italian" meals growing up, and my food here was truly a taste of home. My boyfriend couldn't stop talking about our experience! The service was great, food came out as soon as it was made, and everything we had on the menu was clearly made with knowledge and purpose. We'll be back very soon, thanks Guidos!
Food was very good. Stromboli was excellent. Service was not great and food preparation took over an hour. It would have been nice to get updates on food order.

Such a quaint inviting restaurant. I love the variety of options here. Multiple gluten free options. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about which ones I could have. My husband had the lamb chops & they were perfect. I had the duck since this is not available in many restaurants. The waitress recommended medium rare but I got medium. I'll try the chef's recommendation next time. Lots of flavor, loved the fresh potatoes & vegetables. Guido's is on rotation for date night because of the many choices. Great service as well.

Wonderful experience again tonight left us determined to make the drive across the bay more often! Chalkboard menu changes daily (and as they run out, so plan accordingly) with a wide variety, everything (lamb chops, triggerfish topped with crab, Mediterranean shrimp pasta, and salads were all excellent! You'll pay a lot more at other restaurants, but they won't come close to the experience here!
I like bringing out of towner's to this restaurant. The menu selection is huge and has something for everyone. On this night I got the lamb chops with mushroom orzo and sauteed squash & zucchini. The meal was excellent and plentiful. I am never disappointed here. The wait staff was great and helped with our drink selections. I recommend Guido's to any group that can't decide on what to have for dinner. You will be happy with the menu choices which are posted on Facebook daily. Give them a try.
Guido's catered my wedding and we could not have been happier with their service! They were so easy to work with, and the food was DELICIOUS!! They had a lot of food available (pasta, seafood, veggies, chicken), for an affordable price. My guests were still talking about how good the food was, even days later.
