Moe's Original BBQ - Daphne

Good food, but nothing special. Atmosphere is nice, live bands sometimes play. Overall enjoyable experience.

We had a fantastic barbeque here to cebrate the arrival of 2025. Real friendly staff and a top-class Alabama menu.

Family and I just stopped first time. The brisket was cold beans were cold. When informed the employee, they looked at me like I was lost.
We'll not be coming back.

45 min time from order to food on a slow 2pm afternoon. Food not as good in the new building. Hard pass for us.

Not 5-stars anymore.😞 Seeing new/recent reviews... glad I'm not the only one who's disappointed. It's a big, pretty building, but I miss the Original Moe's vibe at the old house nextdoor, the vibe here is just *NOT it* for me. The cheese on my nachos was cold (ew!) & the amount of pulled pork on top was much less than it used to be. Prices are up too, pulled pork sandwich with two sides is $15 and that doesn't include a drink! If you still want Moe's BBQ, the downtown Mobile location is much better all around. We'll absolutely never dine-in at the Daphne location again.
Edit to add : It just dawned on me that I did not receive the apple cobbler, which I paid for. I was so disappointed with my nachos that I forgot I even ordered it. Reading additional negative reviews, it looks like prices were going up & quality was going down even before their move into the new building.

Only had 3 high chairs and all were in use, so not very baby friendly. Food was cold and way too expensive for what you get.

Great food in brand new building. I never had the opportunity to visit the old location next door but this location was friendly, clean, and extremely family friendly. Will be back!

I typically only attend the great 5star weekly Thursday evening entertainment of 'Beer, BBQ & Bingo', it's free to play and hosted by 92 Zew Radio. To be honest though, I really miss the 'Original, Original' Moes that is now sitting dormant next door. The vibe of this much larger new place is quite different and not in a good way. The food portion sizes have reduced and not to mention the cost of beer on draft, I just paid $9.50 for a Fairhope Brewery Blue Steel, that is a new record for me for any 16oz draft in Baldwin county. Its still good, but in my humble opinion its no longer a 5 star establishment as it was 'next door' in the past.

I like the old place better.

Food was good and the atmosphere was great. Would recommend. I’m a brisket fan and they don’t serve…so that’s the only reason for the 3 stars.
