We celebrated our son’s 26th birthday at this incredible restaurant tonight. Our food was so delicious, Connor, our waiter was outstanding and we enjoyed the quaint atmosphere. We look forward to our next meal at Southwood.

Everything about our visit to Southwood Kitchen was absolutely amazing. I had the steak with mashed potatoes and green beans, and it was hands down the best steak I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. From the drinks to the appetizers, main courses, and desserts, every single thing we tried was outstanding.
The dining experience itself was just as impressive as the food. Our server Connor was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely made sure we had a great visit. The service was excellent without ever feeling rushed, and the overall atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. This was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait to come back.

What great find - this was our first time eating here and what a great surprise it was ! Food was very good and served in a very timely fashion , Service was as good as it’s gets Kiley took care of us in wonderful fashion and we could not be happier with the delicious meals ! We will be back !
Why have I waited so long to try this place after hearing everyone rave about it? My husband and I planned a date night at Southwood last weekend. We had reservations (it's a must). Our waiter was really cool and the food was incredible. We had crayfish dip for our app and it was sooo delicious. I had the filet and hubby had the amber jack. I can't remember the last time I had such good food, and we eat out quite a lot. The prices weren't as high as I thought they'd be. We don't drink alcohol, so I can't speak on that. We also ordered the espresso chocolate cake and that was the only thing that didn't taste great. It was dry. I hear the bread pudding is the dessert to order, but I don't like bread pudding. Maybe I'll give it a try next time. I'm still thinking about the duck fat whipped potatoes and filet, today! We are planning our next visit already!

First time, last night. The food was delicious and dessert as well. My husband and I got last night's special, which was the ribeye steak. It was cooked perfectly. We really liked the hot crawfish and artichoke dip. Also, the crème brûlée cheesecake was amazing.
*If I had to criticize one thing, it would be the steak knives. Need better ones.
