Brisket was tasty. I ordered the 'Beached Fries,' which is fries with a demi glaze and brisket on top. I received fries with mac and cheese & brisket on top with what I'm assuming was a "demi glaze". The glaze was a red orange color. I was sad. I did not want mac & cheese. (Side note: they have a similar dish on the menu with pulled pork and mac & cheese on top of fries but I didn't want the pork or the mac & cheese.) I asked the server about the demi glaze and she seemed puzzled. The cook answered with "the mac & cheese is what we use for the glaze". I laughed. The server said she was new. I feel like the cook was under qualified. It definitely needs improvement.

I wish I could post a great review, but I was very disappointed. The food seemed like it came from the freezer section at Greers, reheated in a microwave, but not even fully. I have had cafeteria food that had more flavor. Maybe it's different during high season, but this was a poor effort.

Do you like Smoked meat? Kinda small upstairs sitting area but the meat is to die for. After we eat a pulled pork sandwich or a hamburger, we get a pound of brisket to go.

I waited 25min for my food. 2 folks came in after me an got their food before me. A guy told me..”oh we make our food fresh”. The other were in line just like me an ordered. They waisted my 30min “only”lunch break. Unacceptable

We got the pork sandwich and the loaded pork fries. So good. We even got a pound of brisket to take home with use. The owner is really nice and knows how to smoke meat. If you eat any where on the island this is the place to go.

Excellent BBQ. The ribs sold out early. (They must have been really good.) Pork good. The brisket would have brought tears to a Texan’s eyes. The smoke was perfect. Fat perfect. Taste awesome. Moist and tender. I haven’t had this good of brisket outside of Texas!!! Coleslaw some of the best. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu. Visit if you can. It’s worth it when you need a break from seafood... or even if you don’t!
