“Wow, wow, wow- this is the place to go for delicious homemade meals and sides on Dauphin Island (and Mobile! ). I had a large family function to cater and everything we got here was so delicious - everyone loved it and everyone said - ‘this seems like it’s homemade’ - because it is! Potato, Chicken and Broccoli salads were all big favorites as well as the banana pudding! And the biscuits and gravy breakfast casserole! Highly recommend!!”
“What a delightful, delicious treat! We indulged in the smoothie bowls and they did not disappoint. They were the perfect blend of crunchy and sweet. I can't wait for our next visit to try the belgain waffle treats.”
“I love the flavors and portions! I usually get the steak burrito bowl with black beans and add guac. It's my fav! I get lunch there multiple times a week, and I just can't get over how good it tastes. The food doesn't make me feel heavy, so I don't need that nap right after I eat.”
“Bit of a wait when busy, but the food made the wait worth it. Excellent fish tacos & jambalaya. Cool patio. Good vibes, but be patient if ordering when packed.”
“So, breakfast on the island is a confusing adventure. Actually, make that food. Period. Not just breakfast. Our first morning here we had no breakfast because we couldn't find anything open for breakfast. After asking around, we learned about this place. So we arrived and found a very small interior with just a few tables - all taken. We decided to get our food to go. We had a bit of a wait. With not much room to wait. So you order at the counter. You don't give a name and they don't give you a number. They apparently just remember you and your order. Folks who were dining inside were served on paper plates and got plastic ware. That's difficult when eating something like a Belgian waffle. We took our waffle, bacon, breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, and biscuits and gravy to go. We ate back at the rental house. Food was good. We'd eat it again. But we'd go forewarned and forearmed.”
“Absolutely DELICIOUS drinks!! We are here on vacation and I’m going to go everyday for an energy tea! Going to try the protein coffee today and can’t wait! The service is so sweet and friendly, I highly recommend!”
“This was definitely a cool little wine bar. You have to order at the bar and can sit wherever you want, we decided to go outside because it was quieter. Highly recommended your on the island and are looking for a drink and a casual atmosphere to kick back and chat with friends.Parking: Go to the side of the back of the building to get the best parking.”
“The food was so good and there were so many options to pick from. The bathrooms could use a some TLC. Beautiful views and great serviceKid-friendliness: They had a kids menu and my children enjoyed there food and the views”
“Fresh, fried seafood. reservations recommended. My family went at 5pm on a random Monday night in late March and had to wait 20 min (not a big deal, just surprised on an off season Monday night). Kids menu was $10ish and had a great selection of burgers and seafood options. My wife, 11 year old, and I had the seafood platter and it was a delicious assortment of fried seafood - shrimp, fish, crab cake (1), hush puppies, and 2 sides ($60). The three of us couldn't finish it. Our server was attentive and kind. When he learned it happened to be my birthday he threw in a cheesecake slice for free. Ambiance was casual. TVs and a 360 wall of windows overlooking the ocean. Would definitely go back on a future trip.”
“It was our first time visiting this bar and we had a great time. Genie was friendly and knows how to make great drinks. It was dead quiet at first and I thought it was so weird. But put some money in the juke box and enjoy it.”
“Loaded supreme pizza with a slightly charred crust for a true stone oven pizza taste! The golden bbq wings were delicious and the ranch dip was the best! Order at least a dozen!”
“We went to watch one of my husband's friends play in his band in the upstairs Daiquiri room. They must have a restricted menu up there cuz all of the food we could choose from was deep fried & very greasy. The one Daiquiri flavor we tried had a very strong alcohol taste. You could get wasted on them very quickly! The sweet potato waffle fries were nice!”
“Best restaurant on the island. We loved the Shrimp Plate with potato salad. My son liked the pulled pork plate and we all loved the milk shakes. Service is fast and efficient. The owners are friendly and this is such a relaxing place to eat after a day at the beach or a nice meal before going out on the pier to watch the sunset. We had eaten here three years ago and we were ever happy to see it was still going strong. And don’t leave without trying the egg rolls!”
“Yummy! first time there and glad to say i will be a regular?.miss jessica did a fabulous job on my specialty "all the way"-- sorry i cant remember the name.i bet you cant go wrong with any menu options!and, if you arent a traditionalist-- enjoy some ice cream while your pie is cooking;) !go grab a bite and enjoy the laid back vibes on the front porch folks, you wont regret it!”
“Thank goodness for this place. No joke! We had four dinners on Dauphin Island and two of them were here. The island is...odd when it comes to food. Limited options, very limited seating, very limited hours. Subway to the rescue!!! The food was served fast and fresh with friendly service.”
“The food dilemma on the island continues! So this little place is right next to the ferry, near the aquarium. We came for lunch. No indoor nor outdoor dining. You order at the window, get your food...then be gone! I mean, food was good. We got a cheeseburger, a Greek chicken wrap, and two gyros. You get charged an upcharge for paying with a credit card. Food was good. But dang, dauphin island. Why is food so difficult!”
“Great food, atmosphere and overall experience. Would come back again. Only downside is you need to make a reservation otherwise it could be a 2 hour or more wait.”
“So glad to have sweet treats close by home to treat my family to! Michelle was so sweet and the place is so cute! Will definitely be making regular walks down there!”
“Visited Tacky Jacks in Ft Morgan today for dinner and the sunset and our server, Solo, was awesome! He was very chill and personable and gave us some recommendations of his personal favorites on the menu. We’d come back just to see him!”
“A quaint little bakery with amazing:) cinnamon rolls and chocolate croissants. The turnovers are flaky and fabulous (had the apple and blueberry). The danish are not the traditional sweet, flaky pastry but more of a dense cookie dough.”
