Read all the great things about Dinner's Ready, so finally stopped by yesterday, boy I want disappointedAll amazing , Greek Salad, Butter beans, breakfast casserole (biscuits and gravy version) and Philly cheese steak casserole.They where making Gumbo when I went in... I'll for sure be back.I love to cook, but have some amazing sides to add to my meals was top notchUpdate... Had to go back.. breakfast casserole (sausage, eggs, bacon) chicken enchiladas, and Macaroni salad, all amazing, especially the Mac Salad, very very good.Added some pics...Be sure and stop by, and thank me later

Wow, wow, wow- this is the place to go for delicious homemade meals and sides on Dauphin Island (and Mobile! ). I had a large family function to cater and everything we got here was so delicious - everyone loved it and everyone said - ‘this seems like it’s homemade’ - because it is! Potato, Chicken and Broccoli salads were all big favorites as well as the banana pudding! And the biscuits and gravy breakfast casserole! Highly recommend!!
My wife and our kids dropped by this week on vacation, most reasonably priced items on the island by far is what I noticed right away but honestly the grandmas noodle and biscuits and gravy casserole both just shot to the top of my list of favorite foods, both easily the best 2 dishes I’ve ever had in my life and I can’t wait till we get to go back next year and get em again! Cannot recommend this place enough! Everyone was friendly and inviting when we walked in and straight away set the tone for some of the best home cooked meals and representation of southern hospitality dauphin island has to offer!

Fantastic food! Not a sit down restaurant. You pick up your choic and take it home and warm it up type a deal. Can't go wrong. I'm a local, trust me!!!

You kinda need to be looking for this place in order to find it, but it's worth the effort. It's a small business run by folks that truly seem to be Good People. Equally as important the food is excellent, with various refrigerated options that you heat up in your house - you're in Dauphin Island after all so many/most folks have houses with a decent kitchen. And the restaurant options on the island are quite limited so pick up some good food to heat up "at home" and not worry about stocking up on groceries and/or cooking every night. This place as well as Skinner's Seafood are now staples of any visit to the island.The menu changes every week so check Facebook, but most everything is good and the only potential issue is occasional lack of full re-heating instructions. If in doubt, preheat the oven to 350 and take off any "clear plastic" tops then cook until it seems to be heated through - often more time than might be listed though admittedly we've also found that most rental houses on the island have ovens with inaccurate temperature readings. Check your food temps of course but plan for more time than listed on the instructions - and beware if you're planning to bake homemade biscuits, pizza, or anything that requires really high oven temperatures in your rental house. Just sayin'.Enchilada casserole, mac & cheese, breakfast casseroles, pretty much everything we've ever had from Dinner's Ready has been pretty great. And by all means get yourself some Southern banana pudding. Or two. Or three. You're welcome.

2 reasons why we can't wait to go back to Dauphin Island, 1-to get back to the beach and 2-to experience even more of Dinner's Ready's amazing food!!! I planned to do little cooking on this vacation so when I discovered Dinner's Ready I planned on getting some dinners and other yummy options. Wish I would have planned for more than I did. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! The location is very convenient and the ladies there are awesome!!! Highly recommended everything we had! Key Lime Pie, Grape Salad, Goat Trees Salad, Pumpkin Muffins, Pastitsio, Chicken n Dumplings and Sliders. Next time the list will definitely be longer and we look forward to that!!!???????????????

Love the food and the ladies! The chicken salad is perfect!! Not too dry, and not too much mayo/dressing - just right!! Great Hine cook meals easy to pop in the oven or the microwave. Yummy desserts- several to select from. They make it easy to get a home cooked meal while visiting the island. Love it!

Just had the weekend special with potpie, goat trees salad and chocolate chip cookies! By far the best meal I've had while on vacation in a long time. The women are absolutely sweet as well.10/10 will be eating there on our next trip.

Highly recommend. These ladies are so friendly and welcoming. Their food is delicious. It tastes like your mother or grandmother used to make. We’ve truly enjoyed everything we’ve tried. We especially like the Mexican lasagna and the Salry Marsh cookies are epic.
