So, breakfast on the island is a confusing adventure. Actually, make that food. Period. Not just breakfast. Our first morning here we had no breakfast because we couldn't find anything open for breakfast. After asking around, we learned about this place. So we arrived and found a very small interior with just a few tables - all taken. We decided to get our food to go. We had a bit of a wait. With not much room to wait. So you order at the counter. You don't give a name and they don't give you a number. They apparently just remember you and your order. Folks who were dining inside were served on paper plates and got plastic ware. That's difficult when eating something like a Belgian waffle. We took our waffle, bacon, breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, and biscuits and gravy to go. We ate back at the rental house. Food was good. We'd eat it again. But we'd go forewarned and forearmed.

Yes, Virginia, they've got breakfast. Hours on Yelp are not correct. Small cozy interior (what I mean is small and kinda cramped) Door KERSLAMS every time it closes so be ready for that. We ended up deciding to get our food to go because there want a lot of inside seating and all of it was taken. It was a bit too chilly for our blood to eat outside, although that was an option. Food was pretty good - we got waffles, a breakfast burrito, a texas toast breakfast sandwich, and an order of biscuits and gravy. Gravy was actually seasoned unlike many places so that was nice. I still added more pepper though.

Weather was nice. Bottled sprite from the bar was not cold but the whiney server kinda was. I can see why the place was mostly empty for a Saturday night. Glad I got the coconut shrimp box too because there was no meat in the fried rice dinner. Must have just been another slow night. $5 entry and the live music was ok. Stayed about an hour cause it was a little less than I had hoped. Not quite worth the $40 either, sorry. I'm guessing it's run by an owner manager with friends and family employees relying on alcohol sales. Something about it is missing, besides the customers.

Food was amazing. I had fried shrimp and fries, can’t beat Gulf shrimp. Tartar sauce was the best. Tammie had coconut shrimp and white rice. Left the beach late and nothing else was open. Even though it was late, they didn’t hesitate to cook us some food. Highly recommend eating here.

Great environment!!! Awesome live music! Beautiful set up. The outside stage was so perfect and everyone was so cool and nice. I wish I could have stayed longer. I'm from New orleans visiting, and I had a blast!!! Everyone should come to this place and experience the unique atmosphere! Loved it!!!
