Nice place.
I eat out all the time due to my work. I have had many calzones over the years. Never had one that I would say this was bad or didn't taste right. They are all about the same with same ingredients. Nothing super exciting, just same basic taste and filling. Today I came to this place for the lasagna. Good meal and I would eat it again but you can get the same basic thing at most Italian restaurants. However, I bought a meat lovers calzone for tomorrow lunch. Had to cut off a slice for testing tonight. The meats were tasty and seasoned just right, but the crust, it was different. Never had one like it. I will drive out of my way to get this crust. If you are bored, get the meat lovers calzone. I will do it again next week. MANGIA, MANGIA. My favorite Italian restaurant.

Top notch, Italian food in Decatur ALABAMA. Friendly staff consistent and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Omg the food here is amazing. I thought I would never find pizza and pastas this good until I found Alfonso's. The staff here is amazing and the servers are so nice and they make sure their customers are happy and satisfied. I will never order pizza and pastas anywhere else because this is my new favorite pizza and pasta spot. Ya'll get 20 stars in my eyes🤩

The pizza is alright, the other dishes leave a lot to be desired, especially the lasagna. It's more like a bowl of melted mozzarella than it is lasagna.

10/10 restaurant and recommend for anyone and any family coming through Decatur. They took care of our big party and everyone was very welcoming. Jalisa our waitress was amazing.
