This is the only Mexican restaurant I usually like coming to in Decatur, but today the food was disappointing. I don’t know if they have a new cook or what changed, but the food had no flavor at all. We always order the Veracruz with the green sauce, and even the sauce didn’t taste right this time. It was way too thick and tasted like it wasn’t blended properly.
Also, at first they brought me a chicken fajita that I never ordered. I told the waitress I didn’t order that and repeated my order again, but instead of bringing what I actually ordered, they just added the chicken fajita to my plate like they didn’t want to waste it.
On top of that, we usually pay around $67 for 3 plates 2 Veracruz plates and 1 chicken and rice plate but today the bill came out to $79 for the same thing. Overall, this was not the experience we normally have here.

Ordered take out. Husband ordered the Del Rancho. Menu said it came with rice and beans but he didn’t get any, just the meat with a pepper and an onion. As this was a higher priced item, he should have received everything that comes with it. Tried calling the restaurant and was left on hold for over 5 minutes so gave up. I ordered S N Faji Supremos which was mostly chips and vegetables with a little chicken. Would have preferred a bit more chicken. Won’t go back.

I have been to this place a few times now and every time I've been the staff has been welcoming and attentive to my table, even on a extremely busy Friday night. The food is amazing. I really enjoy the beef enchiladas with rice and beans. The red sauce on the enchiladas is perfection. They also have really yummy salsa and queso dip. I love the artwork and how the inside of the building looks, it's truly a beautiful place. One time I went and it was PACKED FULL, we still managed to get waited on quickly and our food didn't take any time at all to come out to the table. Food was served hot and it was very delicious.
Thank you to everyone at Casa Santiago for the wonderful service and your hard work. I truly appreciate the workers working so hard especially on busy nights.

It's one of the better Mexican restaurants in Decatur but it's still just like all the other ones at the same time.

I absolutely love this restaurant. Me and my family go here all the time and I usually get a steak chimichanga but yesterday I decided to get beef nachos. I was eating my leftovers today and noticed what appears to be raw beef in the nachos. I am very disappointed by this.
Worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. The food was bland. Then not knowing it, I tried their taco truck at AutoZone in Decatur. It was terrible, bland and very salty and couldn’t eat it. Stay away!

I paid $28 for a double order of jalisco fajitas. What I got was a single order split into 2 dishes. The total number of shrimp was 6 between both plates. This was our first time ordering food from here. Very disappointed. Will not be ordering again.

There are only two Mexican restaurants I visit and that is Guadalajara and Casa Santiago Casa Santiago is by far the best, but Guadalajara is cheaper and almost as good One is in Decatur cass Santiago and the other is in south Huntsville Guadalajara
One of my favorite places in Decatur in terms of food. Also has the best cheese dip in town!
This is the best Mexican food I have EVER eaten. Service was great and food is phenomenal!
