The steak quesadilla features flavorful, tender steak with gooey cheese on a corn tortilla, while the chicken quesadilla on a flour tortilla is also a solid choice. Grilled onions—sweet and smoky—and golden, satisfying grilled/fried potatoes are crucial additions. The steak asada tacos and pork carnitas tacos are absolutely incredible, and the al pastor is amazing. Los tacos de tripa are the best tripa tacos in town, and the quesabirras are so good. The $3 tacos are hard to beat at this quality. The order taker is attentive to details and extremely helpful. The pavilion offers a patch of shade and nice seating under a covered area, providing great entertainment during dinner. This is honest, gut-satisfying food done right—100% authentic Mexican food. It’s worth the extra few minutes off the beaten path, and visitors will definitely be going back.
