Has baked chicken, Mac and cheese, cabbage, dressing Omg delicious! Even though I pulled up when they just closed they still open the door and service me and my coworker. I highly recommend them. I most definitely be going back.

Great little spot off off of 31 in Decatur. My fried pork chops were fantastic, as were the yams, Mac and cheese, and green beans. I also love that they do hot water cornbread with their meals, rather than rolls or regular cornbread.

I can’t wait to go back to Minnie’s. Classic old school soul food. Minnies has that feel of being in your grandma’s house having dinner. I need it again for sure.

I wanted to find a soul food spot off the beaten path. When I arrived, I knew I made the right decision. I was only in town a few days and wanted a good meal to hit the road. The atmosphere is inviting and feels like home. If you judge the place by the outside, or by the vintage decor and feel, you'll miss a treat. The hamburger steak was seasoned to perfection with pepper and bell peppers. The sweet potatoes were melt in your mouth good. The corn was great as well. They have hot water cornbread cakes. Delicious! All the memories of my Grandmother flooded back in with each bite. Looking for a good soul food meal... visit Minnie Lee's!!!

We dined here while visiting from out of state. The food was delicious and well proportioned. I gave this review based on the fact that this business had a strange way of running. Again, the food was delicious BUT there is no menu, no prices listed anywhere for anything. This is a hot bar plate type place where what you see is what’s available. The lady at the counter however, did put things on the plate that were declined and placed anyway. More than one item. Come time to pay there’s no bill, no receipt and nothing to say why your total is your total. The lady just stand there and calculates in her head and runs your card. Strangely, I noticed that people coming in and eating the exact same things had different and much lower totals and I do believe we were charged more than everyone else coming in for whatever reason that lady decided. The food is worth it, but I’d ask the price beforehand if it matters to you and DEFINITELY decline anything extra they try to put in the plate.
