Will never go back! HORRIBLE service. COLD food. Absolutely one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had.
We came here tonight around 7, 2 adults 1 child. We were told the wait would be around 30 minutes. Despite the fact that several tables were open. We waited 45 minutes, then asked the hostess where we were on the list, only to discover she never put us down in the first place. Extremely disappointed and frustrated.
Red Lobster - Decatur, Alabama UPDATED: Sept 2022 Down to 2☆ from the previous 3☆. Food, when we could get it was good, and my review would have been at least 3☆'s except for the service. Approx 2:30pm on Sat, empty parking lot, waited ten minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant, only two other small tables with customers. Red Lobster offers great service with food served promptly and reasonably priced. Customers have praised the huge and delicious coconut shrimp with dipping sauce and the seafood stuffed mushrooms. The lobster bisque and shrimp are also favorites. Service is often exceptional, with attentive staff ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The meal portions are generous, leaving customers with happy bellies and plenty of leftovers. The atmosphere has a nostalgic feel that some may enjoy. Despite some comments on the food not tasting fresh and having a frozen vibe, the restaurant has received positive reviews for its Lobster Fest special, fast and great food, and excellent service from servers like Hannah and LaToya.
