I'm not a rib snob but I don't like fatty meat that I have to fight to get off the bones. No problem with the ribs here. Excellent flavor, comes off bone easy, and good lean pieces. We love it anytime we are in demopolis during their open hours.

The food is good. Period. Meat and sides seasoned well, meat was tender and flavorful. Very clean establishment and very friendly service. Stop by when you are in town or make a special trip. You won't be disappointed.

This is a true bbq restaurant; not a fake place that just resells bbq. There is a smoker with stacks of cut hardwood around back. You can eat in or take home; we took ours back to Foscue CG. The service was friendly with a smile, the customers were friendly and conversational, and the eating area was clean and welcoming. We have tried bbq all across the USA and can honestly say that the brisket and ribs were the best we have ever had. Those meats melted in your mouth! The meats come with sauces, but the flavors were so good it was not needed. The smoke flavors went all through the meat. We also ordered catfish and hushpuppies (wonderfull). If we are ever in the area again, we would make an effort to visit this restaurant again.

A Slab and More is one of the top BBQ restaurants in Alabama! I eat there weekly and the food is great! Everything is good no exaggerating. Ribs, burgers, leg quarters on Thursday is so good and affordable! Chelle and the staff are so professional! Drive to Demopolis you will not be disappointed!
