“Passing thru town and Google suggested River City Soul so we stopped for dinner. LOVED the ambiance, music, the attentive friendliness of the staff & the food was simply DELICIOUS down to the dinner rolls...Yes Lord....Look at God!!! Great customer service AND good food make for such a pleasurable experience. The staff really took GREAT care of us and the owner, Tommy visited each table to make sure everyone was ok. Should we ever have to come thru Demopolis again this will be the only place we choose to eat.”

“If you're anywhere near West Alabama, this is the greatest restaurant if you're looking for ribs, coleslaw, and baked beans. Hands down....period. Plenty of parking.”

“The Aloha Hawaiian food truck is sometimes on campus (UWA). The food is good and they get the orders out fast. Today, I ate inside and as usual, the order took no time to come out.”

“Food and service was great wait time for for was about 15ish minutes and our server was there within minutes for refills on drinks or chips. Definitely recommend stopping by for lunch.Parking: Big enough you can fit a 20ft boat trailer in the lot at lunch time.”

“It was my first time ever to go through the drive-thru at this Cap'n D's, and it was pleasantly surprising. The girl took my order with only a hint of frustration at my not understanding her on the intercom. I drive around, and almost immediately after the car ahead of me gets their order, my order is ready. The girl very nicely takes my payment and gives me my food. Done deal! It was fast and pleasant. I do recommend the Cap'n D's here in Demopolis, as we've been coming here for years. But I do recommend checking your order before leaving. It's better for everyone.”
