It was my first time ever to go through the drive-thru at this Cap'n D's, and it was pleasantly surprising. The girl took my order with only a hint of frustration at my not understanding her on the intercom. I drive around, and almost immediately after the car ahead of me gets their order, my order is ready. The girl very nicely takes my payment and gives me my food. Done deal! It was fast and pleasant. I’ve seen a lot of these in my travels and today decided to try one. First off let me say the woman working the counter was very friendly and courteous and my food came out quickly. I ordered the ultimate lobster bites and shrimp plate. The coleslaw was good and everything was fried well and not greasy. The portions were large. The seafood itself was mediocre at best. Service was very good, even though their was only one person running the front counter. She was accurate, fast, polite!! Our order was correct, fresh and hot!! There was a line of at least 8 cars and she worked it down with ease and good humor!! Definitely worth the wait!!
