Passing thru town and Google suggested River City Soul so we stopped for dinner. LOVED the ambiance, music, the attentive friendliness of the staff & the food was simply DELICIOUS down to the dinner rolls...Yes Lord....Look at God!!! We had lunch of fried chicken and baked chicken. The service was pleasant. The chicken meals were delicious, the fried chicken was crispy and the baked chicken was tender and flavorable. We had three sides rice and gravy, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and cabbage which were good. If we ever travel through this area again we will be sure to stop in again to this lovely clean location.

I have ate lunch here and now dinner and I have to say it’s some of the best! I had the 12 oz Ribeye with the fresh steamed veggies and fresh salad and it was all great and cooked exactly how I ask (medium). Also tried the grilled shrimp with fresh veggies and salad and bbq wings and it was all great! And the slice of cheesecake and peach cobbler was to die for! Great food and service.
