Hair in my food! I have to drive over an hour round trip just to get a refund. The incompetent manager refused to allow me to text a picture of the hair. She claimed she wasn't gonna give me her personal cell number. Lady!!!! You don't have a work email!? You don't have a text app number? I wish I had listened to the reviews. When I make the 35 minute drive back there, the manager short changes me $5 of my refund. Talk about incompetent!!!! And she offered me NOTHING for the oil, gas, and wear and tear on my car to come back up there. I hate this place. Never again.

DO NOT order the Philly cheesesteak. It’s terrible. Doesn’t taste like steak at all. Not sure what kind of meat that was. I could only finish the fries. A waste of money.

Mr. G's Pizza was a wonderful experience. We had the spaghetti and meatballs dinner and the chicken parmesan and it was absolutely delish and came with an excellent serving size as well. They have a drive thru. The inside was a bit gloomy because of the big open space with tables like there should be waitresses but you had to order at the front counter and when it was done the employee would call your number to walk back up to pick it up. Food made up for this ten fold.

It was horrible you had to get your own food they didn't bring it to you you had to order it at the counter they opened up a can of tomato paste I think for the spaghetti The bread was hard I didn't eat my bread I was hungry though I ate the spaghetti it was it was just bad.

I can recommend many dishes, but the spaghetti and meatballs....(Chefs kiss). The first bite took me back to my childhood, sitting in my grandmother's kitchen. Long story short, it's amazing.

I’ve been eating at Mr. G’s since 1974 - 1975 timeframe when my mother, Kate Williams, and I first moved to Demopolis, and I still highly recommend it. Although there is a huge difference in management between 1975 and 2024, but the tradition of food and service quality lives on by the influences of the local Demopolis populace. (I also remember playing the video game, Pong, at Mr. G’s at its original location on Hwy 43 back in the 70s.) Let’s get Mr. G’s back to what it once was.

Ordered a simple salad with grilled chicken and oven baked chicken. They are each priced differently when ordering chicken online using their website. When I inquired about the chicken on my salad I was given a brush off answer saying that the chicken is the same. *Then why is it priced differently?! I left and called the store to speak to a manager and was told that the manager wasn’t in the store. I left my number to be called back when manager got in and nobody called 30mins before closing. I called again and spoke with a woman saying she was the manager and was told that I wasn’t lied to and that I was given double of one type of chicken. And was also told that the prices were the same. Instead of understanding where I was coming from as the customer, she’s talking over me and defending poor service. I don’t want a refund, I don’t want store credit, I want better customer service. But no worries. I won’t be spending my money at Mr. G’s in the future.
