New owner. Pay attention to customers. Stop leaving folks sitting. If u know u going have a big crowd or not. Don’t walk passed some one 15 times. Never ask. Changed hands few times. U raised prices. And did away with salad bar. $28 for salad. No!!!!

Their tea was really good their catfish was pre-breaded and dunked in the grease to cook and the fish stuck to the breading The salad was good and The baked potato was hard not cooked all the way they didn't have real butter they use margarine I don't know about the steak I didn't have that but be wary of their fish.
Parking: They had plenty of places to park a huge parking lot all the way around the building.

I chose The Red Barn for my birthday dinner this year, even though we live about two hours away (long story). In addition to celebrating my birthday, we met some of my wife's friends from her teenage years in Demopolis and Gallion. While we were waiting for the rest of our party to arrive, I ordered the Red Barn appetizer sampler. It included cheese curds, Conecuh smoked sausage, chicken wings and onion rings. Everything on the platter was fresh and tasty. For dinner, I chose the Filet Mignon, salad and loaded baked potato. My wife decided on chicken tenders with homemade potato chips. My meal was very good with the exception that my steak (ordered medium rare) was a bit underdone. The chicken tenders and potato chips were excellent. Service was superior (thanks Paige).
The Red Barn is an institution in the Demopolis area. You can tell it has been there a long time based on its weathered and worn appearance. A rustic, dark interior with worn, creaky floor boards add to the country roadside ambiance. Don't judge the food by the outward appearance. The Red Barn has the staying power that is a testament to the quality of food served here.

In multiple trips, this place is fairly consistent. The people are nice, polite, and courteous. This time the steak was good, the other foods were good and the drinks okay. Can’t always make a Manhattan, but they try.

I was there for a wedding after party. I didn’t have food or experience the customer service! However, if my dear friends had us there… they’ve got to be good!
