I say this as a white dude writing this. This place is hands down amazing. The spot itself is kinda spartan, but Mama T and her welcoming demeanor and off the chain food makes me want to go back again. I got the jerk chicken, macaroni and okra. The Lemonade was absolutely perfect as well. 10/10
Jerk ribs, chicken, ox tail..it's all amazing. The sides are just as great! My brother and I make it over every Sunday, and eat enough to not be hungry the rest of the day. Mama T and family are great and friendly people too! They remember us every time we come in, and go out of their way to make us feel welcome.
Best place to eat in Dothan. I never miss a Sunday. Meat is fall off the bone tender. I've loved everything I have tried here. I'll eat 2 plates at a time, so good you can't stop
