“Great place for a quick lunch or dinner. First time trying the bowl, and I must admit I followed someone else lead, and it was a great pick! All the colors matched my personality and were very refreshing of taste. Music was just at the right volume to match your own conversation to guests!!! Try it out, I know I will again ‼️“
“Absolutely Love the sushi and the service. Kyoto has been our go to place in Dothan for Hibachi and Sushi for many years. The Bama Fever with the jalapeno and Sriracha topping was my favorite this evening. Will continue to come here when the craving hits.“
“LOVE this place. Atmosphere is great, service is great, and the everything I've tried from here has been delicious. Both my husband and I will be returning for more great food. Parking is a bit tight since it's in a plaza but that will not deter me from returning.“
“This is my favorite new restaurant in Dothan. I think it may be Dothan's best little kept secret. I go there a lot...by myself or with different friends, to get the house soup mostly. But their chicken and rice bowl is great too, especially on the lunch menu. You just can't beat the price for what you get. The service is super fast and I've never had a bad experience with any of the staff or food for that matter. I don't eat sushi, so I can't offer any advice as to their sushi bar except to say that they do have one and I do see a lot of people eating sushi when I go, which is often. The bathrooms are nice, the restaurant is clean and the food is delicious. It's like having a little fast food version of "Hibachi Joe's" or "Mikatas" in my opinion and with fast food prices as well. The only thing better would be a drive through for the days when going through the drive though would be best for your agenda, just saying. If you haven't checked out "Oishi" yet, translated from Japanese means... "Delicious", "Tasty", or "Yummy" which is aptly named, in my honest opinion, you should absolutely go ASAP!“
“I had the opportunity to dine at Ooka Sushi in Dothan, which offers an all-you-can-eat sushi experience. The restaurant's warm and trendy atmosphere immediately set a pleasant tone for the afternoon.I began my meal with a selection of nigiri - two pieces each of salmon, tuna, mackerel, and crab. Each piece was fresh and flavorful, except for the mackerel, which wasn't to my liking, but I'm sure that's just a matter of personal taste.Next, I tried the eel roll. Although it appeared somewhat unassuming on the plate, the taste was a pleasant surprise – it was delicious and a testament to the notion that looks aren't everything. Following the eel roll, I ordered a sashimi roll, which was well-prepared and enjoyable. The highlight of my meal was the rainbow roll. The combination of flavors and the freshness of the ingredients made it stand out. It was closely followed by the sashimi roll, which was also exceptional in its own right. The service at Ooka Sushi was noteworthy. The waitress was friendly and attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of without being intrusive. Her professionalism added to the overall positive experience. In conclusion, my visit to Ooka Sushi was a satisfying one. The all-you-can-eat format, combined with the quality of the food and the service, makes it a spot worth visiting in Dothan, especially for sushi lovers. The rainbow and sashimi rolls were my personal favorites, and I'd recommend them to anyone dining there.“
