WildMan BBQ Reviews
I drive over 30 minutes one way, passing 4 to 5 other barbecue places to get this barbecue. Got a family get together this afternoon and I’ll be picking up a decent size order to take back an hour in the opposite direction. That should speak volumes. Icing on the cake is I am also supporting a fellow veteran 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great food, highly recommended.
Stopped and got my husband a brisket plate and it was fantastic!!

WildMan BBQ is a roadside barbecue spot that has earned praise for its simple, flavorful food and friendly service. Visitors describe the brisket as the best they have ever eaten—super tender, flavorful, and not greasy. The brisket plate melts in the mouth and is often paired with coleslaw, baked beans, and potota salad. Pull pork is also praised as excellent. The sauce is homemade and a highlight for many. Reviewers note the brisket is as tender as butter and that the sauce is unforgettable. Customers say the brisket plate is the highlight, and pulled pork is also praised. The owner, a veteran, runs the place with a welcoming attitude and is appreciated for his service. Prices are good, and the food is served hot and fast. The restaurant has no indoor seating, but outdoor seating is available. The parking lot smells of barbecue smoke, and the simple, no‑frills atmosphere feels welcoming. Many guests drive 20 to 30 miles, passing other barbecue spots, just to taste the food. Several plan to return sooner than later. The experience feels special, and the owner’s veteran background is noted. WildMan BBQ is a must‑stop for barbecue lovers, especially those passing the I‑20 exit in Alabama or traveling from Texas.
