Was rolling through Eufaula today (1/3/22) and figured I'd stop for chicken ... I was NOT disappointed!! GREAT, juicy, hot, crispy bird! I had been through Eufaula before but never stopped ... I will now ... again!! THX.
Food was awesome
Struck gold AGAIN at Big H! Absolutely perfect (and super hot, straight out of the frier) fried chicken! The man who's been frying up their chicken for 40 years even ventured out. What an expert! It was crispy, tender, moist, and made from substantial chickens!

Hartz Krispy Chicken/Big H Chicken is a fabulous fried and roasted chicken place with a drive-up window and indoor counter order. They offer a cafeteria line for those who'd like to eat in. The fried chicken is excellent, with generously sized pieces that are perfectly breaded, crispy, and not overcooked or greasy. The rolls are yeasty, fluffy, and delicious, and the mac and cheese and coleslaw are also good. They have a Sunday buffet with vegetable, cooked, and salad options for vegetarians and those with dietary restrictions. While parking can be harder to find on Sundays, the restaurant is kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible.
