Delicious home cooked food!! Our family stopped for lunch on the way home from the beach. Crystal was quick to greet us and explain all the options. The ladies in our group ordered the kids plate and that was a perfect portion for lunch, but the guys enjoyed the regular sized plate. The ribs, cornbread and mac n’ cheese were especially delicious! Highly recommend, just go!

A Hidden Gem on the Way Home – Worth the Stop!
I didn’t plan on finding one of the best bites of my trip on the drive back from Destin, FL to Georgia, but I’m so glad I did. I stopped at this cozy spot more out of convenience than anything else, but what a surprise!
Their cornbread stuffing was absolutely incredible. Perfectly seasoned, moist but not soggy, with just the right balance of herbs from the cornbread, it tasted like something straight from a Southern grandma’s kitchen. I’ve had my share of stuffing over the years, but this one easily is the best.
Even in my brief visit, the service stood out. The staff were genuinely friendly, warm, and welcoming, like they were truly happy to see you stop in. It’s rare to get that kind of hospitality these days, especially when you’re just passing through.
If you’re anywhere near this place or passing through like I was, do yourself a favor and stop in. That cornbread stuffing alone is worth the detour.

We are from Florida, up camping at Hard Ridge Creek State Park and luckily found Thelma's Kitchen! Absolutely the best southern cooking here and to top it off we had the most awesome waitress, Crystal!!! So attentive, kind and like a shining star w her service! We will definitely be back for another delicious meal!!!

Thelma’s Kitchen! We were so excited to find this place online on our way from Atlanta to Panama City. And we were not disappointed! Delicious comfort food! Served hot and quick! Christy was awesome at explaining the menu and taking care of every need. We will always stop here! We are actually heading home today and are timing our trip so that we can stop there for lunch!!

This might have been my favorite dining experience of all time. Crystal is the coolest lady I've ever met. She shared stories of thot this beautiful establishment came to be. When she heard me say "I don't even know what rutabaga is" she said "welcome to the south baby" and brought me a side dish to try. She made us laugh, was quick with drinks, and made us feel at home. Now the ribs are famous FOR A REASON. Every thing I ate was perfect. My whole family LOVED how good the food was. I'm so happy I bought a tshirt. Amazing staff. Amazing food. Great story. Forever a good memory.

Stopped in for a bite. Everyone here is extremely friendly and kind. The ribs are really good and the Carolina sauce was good. It's a really nice and cozy place and the atmosphere is lively and friendly. Everything is well taken care of and super clean. Didn't a new go to spot when in town.
