We were a bit skeptical at first because EVERY review was so positive! Nothing can be that good right? Well, yes, yes it can! The man in the Florida Gator outfit and Crystal both make sure your 1st impression is a positive one! ( Sorry we didn't get his name) She walked us through the process and he made sure to put the food we asked for on our plate. Crystal and her cheerful attitude made sure it got to our table and got us our drinks, and made sure we had all we needed. The food was more than we could eat and oh so delicious! They've got 2 new customer!! We WILL be back! Great lemonade and sweet tea too!

The first time we stopped at Thelma's it was late in the day. We were hungry and looking for food. Don't renember what we had, but it was flavorful, hot and plenty if it. Fast forward a year. We visited again. Food this good should not be ignored. This time we tried catfish, fried pork chops, lima beans, mac and cheese, dressing and corn bread. Usually I am not a fan of lima beans.....but "slap myself silly"......best limas ever!!! Two pieces of catfish with just the right crisp. Porkchops with light breading. Excellent service! Down home southern cooking at it's best.

The food was delicious, we enjoyed it. There seemed to be a lot of disorganization going on, but they were pretty busy that day. It seemed like the young girl behind the counter and one other lady (maybe the owner?) was really running the place. Once the waitress seated us and our food came out, no one come to check on us even though they were beside us multiple times checking on others. We finally reached out to a very nice young man who became our waiter once we asked him for some items. Would I eat here again? Yes, the food was very good, but they really need to work on their service. Maybe it was just a bad day.

We were in town from Illinois for a wedding and had a party of 11 and our waitress Krystal was outstanding. She was a go getter. Very cheerful and delightful. The food was family style and was so delicious. Ribs, fried chicken, baked chicken, pork chops, all kinds of sides, a biscuit, and drink included in price.
