We tried this, based on prior reviews. While very friendly, it was dark inside in the middle of the day. The fajitas were thin shreds of meat cooked in bbq sauce. The sides for it, had one small scoop of rice and just enough guac & pico for one fajita.
I only purchase one dish which is phenomenal. Abreas and get the combination of chicken, steak and shrimp. Get some fresh guacamole to top it off. You might definitely need more soft tortillas. Puts any fajitas around here to shame.
Went last night for dinner and it was awful. Server Enrique wasn’t rude or anything but also didn’t seem so care all that much.
Fajita Texano was overpriced, greasy and questionable meat quality
Fajita quesadilla was in a pool of grease, slimy and not good at all
We ordered chorizo queso as an appetizer because it looked good on menu; picture was a bowl of queso with fresh jalapeño slices and chorizo on top– this could not be further from what we were served.
First off, the appetizer came ten minutes after our food came, I suspect server forgot to ring it in after initially being the one to suggest the choriqueso, as when I asked about it he rushed to the computer. When it finally did arrive after we were halfway done eating, it was no longer wanted and was absolutely disgusting. First off, it had clearly been microwaved and was watery and tasteless white sauce with what looked like dog food stirred in. It was so bad, and didn’t at all resemble queso or chorizo. We didn’t try more than two chips dipped in it because it was not edible. When closing out, the server asked if I’d like a to-go bowl for the uneaten chorizo queso and I explained to him why it was bad and we didn’t eat it, I showed how it was like watery and soupy and the heat was inconsistent like it had been microwaved; he simply apologized but we were still charged for the disgusting bowl of inedible soupy garbage that we didn’t touch. I will never eat here again, and I’d suggest all of fairhope spend their hard-earned money elsewhere

The food is authentic and very tasty! The service was exceptional. I highly recommend this place.
First time visiting this restaurant. Agave has a beautiful ambiance, but the food was mediocre. No seasoning on the fajitas and the flan was well done! I am spoiled to dining in New Orleans, food never fails there.

After refusing to eat at this place ever since I got the worst food poisoning of my life 2 years ago I thought I’d give it another try two years later. Major mistake. Same thing happened. This place really needs to be inspected at by the health department.

I'd try it again. The town had the Christmas tree lighting that night, so it was packed. The waitress seemed lacrimose, but it may have been the crowd on a Thursday. The food was good except the guacamole, which was a dark shade of greenish brown. Make guacamole green again!
Parking: Mexican
Kid-friendliness: I think they would be friendly to kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: I think you could roll up in here.

The best Mexican restaurant around, the food is so good and the service is amazing! I always make sure to request Juliette because she makes the experience even better if that were even possible!
