Got in late to the house we stayed at just up the river from this grill. It took a couple of boat rides for our party of 12 and the kitchen was closing. Our waitress, student at Auburn (Go War Eagles!), was great and took the orders in stride and keep the drinks flowing. She did an excellent job and the food was delicious. I got the blackened fish po'boy, but shared some appetizers around the table. I would recommend the onion rings and fried pickles. Thank you to everyone that made our first evening in Fairhope a night to remember.

I do recommend Big Daddy’s Grill for the delicious food, however, I do not recommend them for good food at an affordable price. I just ordered a 2 basket combo for $26.95 with a variety of selections which included oysters and crab claws which I ordered. When we got the bill it was $26.95+$8.00 for the oysters + $20.00 for crab claws, which they called “market price” so..$ $54.95 for small container of slaw, green beans, 3 hush puppies plus my “market” entree! Very deceptive and Ridiculous! The waitress should have divulged the mark up. Very disappointed! Beware!

Omgggg!!!! This place was absolutely delisshhhh!!!! The strawberry shortcake drink was tooooo good!!!! I had the black and bleu burger to eat, and it was to die for. The hushpuppies are also to die for. My husband had the pick 3, and it was delisshhhh. So, you can't go wrong with anything you pick off the menu. The customer service was also amazing. Everyone was so sweet and kind and attentive. 10/10 definitely recommend. I can't wait to come back and try something else!!!

Great place, bad gumbo. Who puts tomatoes in gumbo? And I had a tiny black shrimp in my gumbo. Service was lacking, they ignored us a few times.. try harder.
