So glad this place has finally reopened and have he kinks worked out. Super friendly waitstaff, cozy dining area, wonderful food and a great location all make this one of my favorite places on the Eastern Shore. The grilled grouper and veggies are awesome but be sure to save room for the Sea Salt Carmel Cheesecake, you will not be disappointed!!!

The menu looked great. I was traveling solo and hostess said I could sit at bar. Bartender completely ignored me. Finally, came and I ordered water and wine. He brought tiny glass of water. He set an empty wine glass in front of me then proceeded to go help every other person at the bar. I drank the water and left. Huge disappointment.

WARNING: Camellia Cafe ignores online reservations. I received three emails confirming my reservation. My name was on the book but scratched when I arrived. I was told the reason was because they had no contact information for me. However, I find this hard to believe since I’ve never had this experience booking online until today. Therefore, my party could not be seated because they were booked. The hostess said they were supposed to have removed the online reservation option from their website. But, the link was there on May 27 and still today when we arrived , June 4.

My husband and I made a leisurely trip to Fairhope for fun, relaxation, shopping, and food. We ate at Camilla Cafe the first night - one of us had the smoked fish and the other had the pan roasted fish. Oh my! They were both wonderful as were the crab cake appetizer and the chocolate dessert. We enjoyed it so much, we went back again the next night - one of us had the filet and the other had pork chop. Both cooked to perfection. We were not disappointed as this meal was as wonderful as the one we had the previous night. The staff were all extremely nice, attentive, and competent. We were fortunate to have the same person both nights. I highly recommend Camilla Cafe.

Went with a group of guys, service was great, food was even better. Try the pork chop, they brine it then cook over a a grill.

My husband and I had a reservation for dinner tonight. He received a call back from the restaurant to confirm on Thursday. We arrived on time and clearly the host did not have us down as she asked if we reserved online or by phone. A couple came in after us and stated they did not have a reservation but were able to sit at the bar which we stated we would do. Clearly disappointed in how it was handled

Extremely disappointed after making reservations a week ago to walk up & see a closed sign on the door. My brother was so excited to come here & stayed in fairhope for this reason It is a small restaurant so there is no reason for you not to contact all of your guests. We should have gone to Jesse's & we will next time.

Yet again, another amazing meal. And I am the worst to please when it comes to food. They even know how to make an amazing cup of coffee. French press of course. From start to finish.....BLISS.... and I love the fact that they are closing for two weeks to decompress, enjoy life, rejuvenate. Well deserved! We look forward to coming to Fairhope knowing our tastebuds will be taken to another place as we experience your enjoyment for our tastebuds to crave!!ALSO your waitstaff and bartender BEST

Apps > Awesome. Entrees > Incredible! Desserts were some of the best we’ve had, would recommend to anyone. Kids welcome but more of an adult restaurant and atmosphere
