Fantastic, high quality food, excellent service. Left with our bellies full, already talking about what we’re gonna order next time.

Me and my friend came and ate lunch here. The food was absolutely delicious. If you are looking for some good home cooked food with fresh vegetables, I definitely recommend Clovis. Jessica and Summer were absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is so welcoming.

I ordered a large breakfast and I do this because I love to eat grits with everything mixed together. It’s apparent that the kitchen boy doesn’t know the first thing about making grits. I will not eat clumps in my grits and nobody should even attempt to eat poorly prepared grits. I let the waitress know and she said something to the kitchen boy who made the grits. The kitchen boy decided to approach the table and instead of saying he will fix it, he told me that he stirred the pot for 20 minutes and he knows how to make grits. Well it’s not how long you stir and anyone who knows how to make grits knows exactly what I’m talking about. The kitchen boy was passive aggressive and had a violent energy in his physical presence in the stare of his eye contact and in his energy. I will definitely not go back to a hostile environment where I’m paying for violent behavior. I felt like I was strong armed into paying for the food I did not eat. I am a local business owner and I would never have a low iq person working for me that approached my customers in this manner. He would have been fired immediately in front of that customer. The owner let me know that it was her brother in law and told me she let him know not to do that. I had to pay for something I didn’t eat and I was told by the owner that I could come back and have a free meal. I declined because I do not want someone like him anywhere near me. It’s so bad nowadays that the help can get away with this kind of behavior. Good help is really hard to find. I hope the owner can hire someone with some common sense and self control so she doesn’t lose money clientele

So good! Best veggie plate around. Be sure to get the squash, whether fried or casserole, and the fried green tomatoes when they're in season.

It was not a good experience!! Actually it was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I really do not want to hurt their business so I will not get into the details. Hopefully our experience was not reflective of their normal operation.

This hidden gem is like eating a grandma’s house. I had the fried chicken livers which were perfect (don’t knock it until you’ve tried it) along with Cole slaw and fried okra. My wife had greens, black eyed peas, sweet potato casserole, and tomato/cucumber salad. Everything was delicious. Our waitress, Summer, was sweet as pie and even offered to send us home with extra cornbread. Don’t miss this place for good, down home food and service.

Clovis is now open for dinner. Excellent menu items, service. Brought our own wine so our meal was more moderate than usual. Will definitely make this a new favorite.

I had just moved into town and didn't have my things yet to cook at home. I needed a casual restaurant to grab some lunch. This homey little hidden gem did not disappoint. It's a small restaurant where the food is fantastic and the staff are personable and very friendly. I was treated like a regular they see every day. I sense Clovis Cafe will become my go-to for great food and authentic southern hospitality.
