i’m new to the area and decided to stop by Guthrie‘s on my way home from work today and I was very pleasantly surprised. I assumed it would just be your basic run of the mill chicken tender place, but the fried chicken pita sandwich was so delicious and full of flavor . Definitely recommend 10 out of 10

So yes for anybody reading this review I'm going to start it out with it's Uber eats that is a reason for this review I don't like leaving negative reviews at all so if you're going to eat this place go inside do not order ever from Uber eats.I'll give them this The food is great but didn't get half the order I paid over $50 for four wings little side of fries and two chicken tenders through Uber eats. I tried writing a complaint through Uber but it will not let you your employees are outstanding I'm just letting you know this is not for the store in general The food was awesome it was really good whoever made the sweet tea stole my grandmother's sweet tea recipe I think cuz it was some of the best sweet tea that I've ever had in my entire life that jug of T was worth every every $7 I'd have paid $40 for that jug of tea so no this is not towards guthries itself and I'm not recanting anything this is if you order through Uber eats Yes it's going to be like $50 which is insane so either the driver charged me some other kind of fee and acted like it was Guthrie's that did it and then he kept half my food after he done left but yes your employees called me to ask me what type of sweet tea that I wanted and what type of chicken wings I wanted because the driver didn't even understand English because if you did notice in the first of the sentence I did say through Uber eats it was never directed towards Guthrie's itself

We came by today and ended up leaving because of the lack of what seems to be competence with the employees. We ordered 2 meals and instead of actually listening to what we wanted they rushed us speaking and decided to talk over us. Order obviously was incorrect and then they tried to charge us $52.00 for 2 $14.99 meals. I said nope and we left. We will not return until the staff gets either retrained or replaced. I don't like to leave negative reviews but we have had this experience here before and I feel like this needs to be addressed.

Guthries used to be our go to when we lived in Fairhope. So, when we came back home this weekend, we were happy to see it was still here and planned on having dinner tonight. Unfortunately, and to our great surprise, when pulled up at 7:46 pm, the workers turned the lights off and locked the door. When called to inquire, since closing hours are listed 10 pm, they answered the phone and promptly hung up and would not answer again. I guess, Guthries is still here but Fairhope hospitality, quality, and service are no more. Going to swing by Franchising office when I am back in Auburn to make sure they are aware, this is definitely not what we came to expect from any of the locations.
We arrived on Saturday, May 24th at 7:40 PM. The location was supposed to be open until 10:00 PM, but when we got there, the inside door was locked even though the lights were on. We waited in the car and I called — they answered once and hung up immediately. I called several more times but got no response, even though I could clearly see them inside on their phones.
While we were waiting, two cars pulled into the drive-thru. The staff turned the lights off, then once the cars left, they turned them back on again. Completely unprofessional behavior.
They clearly didn’t want to work and were ignoring customers well before closing time. Definitely a 1-star experience. If this is how they treat people, they shouldn’t be working there
I ordered through doordash, 2boxes and 2 extra sauces. When i received my doordash, i was missing a box and my sauces, instead i got one box and a snack box. So i called the store and a very nice girl answered the phone and said i could either refund or come get my box i was missing. I went to get my box and she was very nice, great attitude!! Thank you so much sweet girl!

Absolutely delicious. The chicken is the most tender I've found in our area and the sauces are outstanding. Staff including the manager behaved like they enjoyed serving you and the interaction was not on a script. Real people serving really good chicken! Build one in loxley!!
I had a to go order Nov 16 at 4:10 pm. LITERALLY NOBODY CARED. The witch at the counter needs to check her attitude. My order was 1 box. No drink- just one box. Not ready, not acknowledged guys in the back making drive thru orders - nobody in this place has any business doing a job that requires actual work and attention.

get the coleslaw and not able to drive back. the box and the snack shouldn't have the same "box" name

It was okay i guess but it seems like a lot of kids are working there.i can understand you have to keep a business going. Employees shouldn't be outside leaning on cars and yes they were leaning on my car until I said excuse you all. I don't think it was a party while other cars needed to take orders half of them were outside while two people were inside. I'm not going back because I doubt it if they washed their hands.
