They say “Hot & Spicy Crawfish” I went to order 6 pounds @ 5.99 a pound, which I thought was kind of pricey for this time of year. The guy waiting on me pulls a tub of crawfish out of a refrigerated cooler, I asked if they had hot ones. His response was we can heat them up, but you can just take them home and put them in the microwave. I don’t know where they are from ( I can only assume up north somewhere) but every time I have ever bought “Hot & Spicy Crawfish” they open a chest and steam comes pouring out with hot crawfish, I just turned and walked out.
Absolutely fantastic! The customer service is that only found in the locally owned business of our gulf coast communities! The young man that waited on me was so informative about which crab meat is better suited for the fish I was preparing, and it turned out amazing! Thank you so much for incredible customer service and fantastic gulf coast seafood!
Try the gumbo - fast and friendly service.
Ruined our plans for Christmas dinner. I preordered and when I got there they did not have what I ordered. Never again.
Just bought a pound of gulf shrimp steamed, overcooked and why in the world would I pay $14 for a lb of overcooked shrimp! ? smh ?♀️
Just bought tuna streaks from the case. Young man didn't ask me which ones I wanted just threw a few in the bag. Not happy with the quality. Not sure why this is what I got. Not happy
I just had my first experience at Lartigue’s in Fairhope. I got fine, fresh, peeled and deveined Gulf shrimp with quick, friendly service. I’ll be revisiting there regularly.
Really enjoyed the crawfish pie and Gouda shrimp and grits. Tasted very fresh and great flavor. From a local who grew up eating seafood from ocean to table. I’ll be a back.
Sam Mckelvey Jr. & his son (the real CEO) are super friendly! He went above & beyond to come out from behind the counter for 1 on 1 customer service & advice. Most of the seafood is fresh-caught locally. The peel & eat shrimp we've been craving were steamed & seasoned perfectly! We'll be repeat customers every time we visit Fairhope. Thank you!
How can you trust a distributor when you buy medium fresh shrimp and you bring them home to cook and they stink so much you have to wash them in vinegar before you cook them and then put them in the pan and you end up with a soup you never wanted because of all the water they release. It was a waste of time and money. I drove 15 minutes just to buy fresh shrimp and they’re marginally edible right before you will poison yourself if you’d waited one more day to cook them.Over $10.30 / pound for marginally edible smelly shrimp.

Always a great selection on fresh fish and shellfish. Most of what we buy here is for sushi- sashimi and must be of the highest quality and super fresh to be eaten raw. They never disappoint. If something is not available fresh and we go with something frozen it is high quality and much better than other seafood outlets. Great group of guys (and gals) always super professional. Will be a steady customers for many years!
$27 wasted for 2# jumbo shrimp. Had them steam but they overcooked them so much they weren't edible.
Good quality but recently found frozen crab cakes from a large seafood business in Jacksonville, FL that taste better (less filler and more crab meat)
Had delicious steamed shrimp today. Great service and yummy shrimp! Thank you!
