Coming from TX visiting, very disappointed ordered gumbo got beef stew basically. The waitress sat at the bar just watching never really checking. Very pricey for what you're getting.

Awesome peel-and-eat shrimp, even better service. One bartender and one server holding down the almost-full restaurant while being super hospitible.

Great food and people at Pearl. Fabulous from the oyster appetizers to the fish or chicken entrees and the delicious dessert. The Baked Oysters, Fried Chicken and the Fried Catfish special were particularly noteworthy. Can't wait for the next visit!

Waitress was really friendly and good service. The oysters were high quality and delicious. The rest of the food was a bit overly salty.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a delicious lunch at Pearl. We decided on appetizers and a cold beer. We were helped by a very attentive bartender who recommended delicious drinks. The roasted oysters were fantastic with very complex flavors. The blue crab rice was also amazing. I would steer clear of the baked Manchengo dish. It was good at first but hardened quickly and became greasy. Overall I recommend Pearl and will make a stop there when in town.

Pearl is my favorite, amongst many great Fairhope Restaurants. The appetizers, are never passed up, when I go. They are tremendous. Don’t sleep on the sides, either. The potatoes and the Brussels are money! All of the entres are consistent and expertly prepared. The atmosphere is clean, the music is always good, and the bartender and staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Quaint little seafood restaurant in downtown Fairhope. Great service! Great drinks! Oh but the food... we got the Roasted Oysters that were so good, we ordered another half dozen. Needless to say, it was our favorite dish on the menu. We also had the Manchego dip- it wasn't bad but nothing special. They were out of the Brussels Sprouts so we ended up getting the buttermilk grits, which were wonderful and went great with my Smoked Short rib. A little smoky for me but the tenderness was on point. I actually poured the juice from the oysters over it to add a bit more flavor. It was fabulous. Presentations were amazing. My Hubs had the redfish which he gobbled down in no time. He also had the turnips and potatoes. These were good but will prob just stick with the Grits and Brussels (if they have) next time. Oh the hush puppies were large and filling but didn't hit the spot. All and all, great spot full of rich flavors. We'll definitely be back and order our favorites.

Amazing meal. Super fresh oysters, excellent gumbo, fish cooked to perfection, perfectly seasoned fish. Service was a bit off as server was not very communicative and all food items came out at the same time, but great food made up for it. Reasonable prices. One of the best meals of the year.

We tried Pearl after loving the ambiance and the food of the old Bistro. We were the only ones there for a late lunch and I can see why. The food was very disappointing. We always loved coming to Fairhope for a great dining experience..but sorry, not this time.
