Elite. It is exactly what a Southern BBQ restaurant should be. Local, kind, and delicious. The sauce and sweet tea is going to forever stick in my mind. A little pricey but I am person that will support local businesses til I have no money left. Worth every penny!

Customer service was impeccable. The food tasted amazing as well! I highly….highly recommend.

Hate to say but just ok or decent BBQ at best and their prices are high for the relatively bland BBQ and sides served (great location at least). Fatty brisket, decent BBQ pork sandwich but on a lousy basic bun, small servings of collard greens and baked beans that honestly tasted like they came from a can, each side option cost $4.

My wife and I went in 45 minutes before Mardi Gras parade. They were slammed with two people but the lady behind the counter was so nice and had a beautiful smile. The fellow cooking just kept doing his job and they had everyone serviced in time to eat and see the parade. We had a burger that was hand patted with a tomato that looked and taste like it was off the vine. We heard grate comments from the other guests. I would love to go back and eat the barbeque as that is what they are famous for in the area.

Perfect BBQ and the folks that run the place are amazing! Very friendly! Don’t pass this place up while in Fairhope!

Parking: Parking right in front.

We stumbled on this restaurant and glad we did. Jo Ellen was really helpful and friendly. We loved the food and will definitely be back if we are in the area. Reasonably priced and clean environment.

We were very impressed with our dinner last night! Despite the high volume of guests with the Christmas parade going on they were very efficient and the food was delicious!

It's about time someone opened up another great BBQ restaurant in Fairhope. The owners are great. Add it to your must try! I will be back!

Not impressed. Upon ordering we were told they only had pulled pork. So we ordered the plate and loaded fries. It was $40 After checking out and leaving a 20% tip the woman checking us out said this is a self service place get your own drinks, utensils, and napkins… the food took a good while to come out there was one other couple in restaurant besides us. Our food was barely luke warm.

Great BBQ. I got the chopped plate with a salad. I love the way they make their salads because they cut it up in tiny pieces. My husband loves their brisket. The owners are so nice and friendly.

We will definitely be back! We went inside 15 minutes before they closed on Saturday not knowing but we were welcomed by their great service and food! My favorite is brisket but they were out so I ordered loaded nacho which was great too but she found out that there was a little brisket left so she offered if we wanted brisket sandwich instead. We said no but she brought us the slice of brisket to try anyway. Omg it was sooo delicious. We will have to be back when they have brisket so I can have full plate :) We got banana pudding to go as we were so full ☺️

Best BBQ that I’ve had in a very long time. The owners were very nice. My favorite place to eat in Fairhope.

Porterhouse BarBQ is awesome. Some of the best brisket I’ve ever had… smokiness and tenderness are dead on!!! We’ve never had anything that we were displeased with. We eat here at least once a week and would go more often if I didn’t work in Mobile. The family and staff are also awesome and just good people. Porterhouse feels like home to us.

Ate there a second time and it was pretty bad: $22 dollars for cool pulled pork and a small serving of Cole slaw. Oh, and it's $2.00 for water and bring cash for the credit card charge. I would not go again.
