Elite. It is exactly what a Southern BBQ restaurant should be. Local, kind, and delicious. The sauce and sweet tea is going to forever stick in my mind. A little pricey but I am person that will support local businesses til I have no money left. Worth every penny!
My wife and I went in 45 minutes before Mardi Gras parade. They were slammed with two people but the lady behind the counter was so nice and had a beautiful smile. The fellow cooking just kept doing his job and they had everyone serviced in time to eat and see the parade. We had a burger that was hand patted with a tomato that looked and taste like it was off the vine. We heard grate comments from the other guests. We stumbled on this restaurant and glad we did. Jo Ellen was really helpful and friendly. We loved the food and will definitely be back if we are in the area. Reasonably priced and clean environment.
