our waitress was very kind. But that is far as I can go for a good review. We were given no silverware, napkins, or refills. And my PoBoy grouper was extremely undercooked and rubbery. It was extremely dark and the light above us was flickering on and off like a strobe light. I had to look very closely to tell what was wrong with it. After examining it I was able to see that all the pieces were still translucent and cool to the touch. You sit extremely close to other guest and I overheard someone else say their food was undercooked. Maybe they had their grease too hot and the outside was cooking faster than the inside? Our waitress did offer to bring me something else out… but I had lost my appetite they did remove the sandwich from our bill. But it was still gross and disappointing.

Great little bar & grill in downtown Fairhope. We just had apps and a couple drinks, but loved the atmosphere. Local beers are excellent.

They’ll normally have music if the weather is nice, it kind of reminds me of an old southern bar and grill type place. Good was delicious, and the server was very nice and friendly. If you like a laid back, low key bar and food place you’ll like this one.

Parking: If you’re not staying there, it’s difficult to park. I’d suggest an Uber.

My fianceé and I decided to make a meal of a couple appetizers and a side of veggies. Both the bourbon molasses wings and the southwest egg rolls were delicious!

Beer selection on draft is a bit limited and the old fashioned was not a strong point--there are better cocktail options in downtown Fairhope--but overall this is a solid place to eat.

Parking: There is a free city garage in the center of the block, with level 2 EV charging available if you need it.

Great atmosphere and service. The fried ribs were a little strange and the whiskey sauce with it had a very strong whiskey taste. The Blue Cheese Crab Dip was mostly cheese-tasting with a faint hint of crab, if you're into that.

Overall, the outcome WAY superceded the initial thoughts and expectations. The downtown area is really neat almost giving a "Pleasantville" vibe. The trees and buildings were all decorated for Christmas. When my friend and I arrived in the town, it was after 9 so almost everything was shut down- except this bar and grill. The service was great, the food was crazy good (don't judge me it was a fat night 😆)- fried ribs that were amazing, smoked Mac and cheese that could've been the best I've had, and potato wedges fried to perfection.

Our waitress Ava was great! Greeted the table with a smile and a great sense of humor. Had great recommendations and knew the food. The only downside is any dessert my friend wanted was basically unavailable....

I'll come back without hesitation!

This was my first time eating here and I most definitely will be back. The food was delicious and my waiter Mr. Miller was so attentive to our needs. I've already told family and friends about the Fried Ribs.

The food was awful. Old, deep fried taste. Nice waitress recommended options. Not good. Bar is good for late night music and drinks.

Went there with three friends ALL OF AGE. Turned us down at the bar after we already had our IDs scanned and approved by the bouncer. This was likely because we weren’t from Alabama. Proceeded to kick us out and almost didn’t give us our money back for the cover we paid. Super rude staff and uneducated. Way better bars in the area. Do not recommend bone and barrel. P.S. if Erin is in charge don’t expect good service or competency behind the bar.

I am 27 years old from New York. They scanned my ID at the door and got a wristband and payed a cover. Waited 20 minutes to get a drink after being ignored and watching several other people getting served first. After handing my ID they threw it back in my face and refused to serve me. Rudest service I’ve ever had. Nasty people, seems they favored people from the area. Had plenty of money to spend, their loss.
