Food is pretty good and service is decent. Second time trying them out the food took way longer than it should have but was hot and good.

The music volume is a bit loud and off putting at times but otherwise atmosphere is pretty good.

Order a to go shrimp and avacado allergy if consumed which I stated no need too take serious extra precautions but I still got shrimp and Guacamole… I hate too bash this restaurant beacuse pricing is fair and have been a long time lover of the birria pizza but I got the bongos platter the meat on it spoiled this needs to be addressed by the owner…

I had a really disappointing experience here. My friend and I both called in separate to-go orders. She ordered a kids chicken nachos with beans and a small cheese dip, and I ordered two sides of beans and rice plus a large cheese dip. When we went to pick up our food, the man at the counter gave us the wrong orders. Luckily, we knew each other and figured it out after leaving.

When I got home, I realized I only received one side of rice and beans even though my receipt clearly showed I paid for two. I went back to the restaurant, and instead of simply giving me the item I paid for, the same man told me I couldn’t have my rice and beans unless my friend returned her beans that came with her kids’ meal. He said he would “get in trouble” for giving me the food I paid for, which makes no sense. Having worked in restaurants myself, I know a simple side of beans could have easily been fixed or comped without issue.

To make matters worse, as I walked out to go get the beans, the staff started laughing at me. Only after I returned my friend’s beans did they finally give me what I originally ordered and paid for.

This was extremely unprofessional, embarrassing, and left a really bad impression. A customer should never be laughed at or made to jump through hoops to get something they were charged for.

Food was amazing , ate here twice this week , so with that being said the food is absolutely delicious, I really love eating here. The prices are very reasonable, the bartenders and waitresses are super sweet and helpful. My husband got me to order extra food for the next day , so what is that telling you 😆 🙂😊. I found bongos because my mom is in the hospital, and they are right up the street, my mom doesn’t eat anything and is very picky because she’s sick, but when I say she tore her seafood burrito up 🙂😇☺️😊😎 that brought joy to my heart to see how much she likes it after not wanting to eat for days . Hands down you guys have the best Mexican food in Florence /huntsville, and each time we come it is good, very consistent and that’s key . May GOD bless you and your business we will most definitely be back , might be this week 😆

Such a cool spot to go eat! Probably one of the better Mexican restaurants in the Shoals with high quality flavors! I had the Bongo dip which was really good but I'd of preferred it to be spicy still really good, it had ground beef, onions, peppers and cilantro mixed in with their cheese dip. For my lunch plate I've heard about how good the Bongo platter is so I had to get it and was not disappointed all this food on a platter for only $13.99 is crazy cheap! It had chicken and shrimp nachos, a birria quesadilla, chicken taquito a beef flauta and in the center a black bean and queso dip! It was so so good and definitely enough for two people for dinner! Their chicken is the best chicken I've had and all the Mexican restaurants around. I highly recommend going. Will be back for the Birria Ramen!

The food was decent, but there were several issues with our experience. There was a gnat in my water at the very beginning, then the queso dip was served cold and we had to ask for it to be reheated. The chicken fajitas and the fajita bowl were both good, but the chicken certainly wasn’t of the highest quality. My pico de gallo was not fresh - the fruits and peppers in it weren’t ripe. Overall, it was just an average experience.
