Ordered chicken and dumplings. They were just clumps of dough very tough and no flavor. I could not eat them. Informed the waiter he just said sorry and walked away.

Our server, Hannah, was super amazing!! So sweet and checked on us, updating us on our food because it was busy. Literally the best server I’ve had at any restaurant!!

Unfortunately quite a bad experience. Meals came out not hot nor warm except the boil and somewhat the last meal that had to be changed. Several of our pancakes were not hot as butter did not move. The remake of my order asked to make to go to find out my sausage was uncooked and eggs quite wet. Thankfully bless her heart our waitress Debby was nice but not a pleasant Cracker Barrel experience.

Got the new beef skillet which was pretty good but was very disappointed with the fried catfish dinner with Mac and cheese and fried okra along with an additional half serving of fried shrimp which was over cooked and not tasty at all, should have sent it back.

Usually the food is excellent…”usually “ being the operative word. This was the worst meal ever!! First I ordered a shrimp dish with rice. “No flavored rice ” the waitress says. “Any regular rice?” say I. “No rice at all” says she.
Do you know how long rice keeps? So I go to what I think they should have down pretty good by now… a meatloaf and fried chicken
combo. The meatloaf was burnt on the bottom (which they hid) and the sides also. It should have never been served!! The chicken, which was mostly breading, was tasteless.
I got about five small carrots. Then I asked for peach cobbler. “We don’t have any,” says the waitress.

We went for a late lunch after shopping. No wait, yippee! Our server, Harrison was incredible! So personable and attentive. He was welcoming and personality plus. He refilled our drinks without being asked, inquired about our satisfaction with the food and ensured that we had a great experience. He is a true asset.
