Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

They do not honor any of their websites promotions or accept the cracker barrel rewards. Our server and the manager both got an attitude when we politely asked about their 2 can dine for 19.99 deal which i showed them on the cracker barrel website. That is when the manager informed me that they do not honor any of those deals any longer despite us eating here a few days before and getting that deal.

Well let's just say I new it was gonna be a crappy experience when I walked through the door. So I walk up to the podium to get seated . They ask how many I said 2 and a service dog so we need a table for 4 . They sit is at a 2 seat table. So my wife is stuck holding the service dog. Then waitress takes our drinks I get a sweet tea and she gets a coke well about 5 minutes later she brings out my tea. Were completely out of coke. I'm thinking I understand it's the holidays but how can you be out of coke.so she ends up getting a sprite instead it tastes crappy as hell. We both tried it just to make sure it wasn't her. Then they tell us there out of biscuits it will be about a twenty minute wait. By the time we get then we're 90% thru our meal. Then to top that off they can't even bring the right jelly. They bring blackberry and strawberry when I ask for grape. Then waitress lady bought one refill of tea. Hasn't been back to refill her coffee at all. But here's what I don't understand . There was a family of 8 came in there was three of them ordered coke. Instead of telling them they were out of coke she made them sit and wait 5 minutes like she did us. As far as the food goes it was ok but there was no spice added to it. Kinda blah . Like the food had COVID. No spices or anything added to it

Out of certain food products. Our order came out wrong and was never corrected. Food service manager needs to be evaluated for what's going on food and server wise. Overall a very underperforming store.

They were out of what I ordered the first time. Then what I ordered second came out incorrect. The food service manager need to see what's happening in the kitchen and spend some time training servers. Very disappointed with our experience. Two stars was being nice.

Cracker Barrel has always been a familiar stop for travelers, and this visit reminded me why. We arrived too late for dinner and left too early for breakfast, which might sound unusual, but that is the rhythm of life on the road. One of the quiet courtesies of the chain is that RVers are welcome to park overnight, with the understanding that it is not a campground. That means keeping generator use minimal, avoiding slide outs, and respecting the lot as a place to rest, not to camp.

Even though we missed the main meals, we did step inside for sweets. Mrs. K. has a fondness for the lemon sticks, and while that is not much, it was something, and it honored the spirit of the arrangement. The next breakfast will be at another Cracker Barrel along our journey, and I suspect the biscuits and gravy will taste even better knowing we have kept the tradition alive. This stop was a reminder that sometimes the smallest gestures carry the weight of respect and community when traveling.

My fork was dirty. It had dried food on it. I asked onecwaitress for a clean one she ignored me. I asked again and got one. I /we were greeted by a very unkempt person. Looks like Cracker Barrel could provide clothing and require hair to be comb and neat. Faces pierced and earrings in noses have no place in the food service . Leave them at home when at work. Food was not very good.

Waitress was great and handled our large group of 17 with ease, the food was pretty good as the normal cracker barrel food goes, I like cracker barrel okay it's just not my mom's home cooking but okay for a restaurant meat and three, my mother in law insist we go there every year the Sunday after Thanksgiving so we do. The wait time was a little messed up is the only reason for not giving a 5 star, we waited for over an hour and that's understandable with such a large group but, they didn't send a text to the number that they had taken down and when we went back to inquire they stated that they had our table ready over 30 minutes ago and that they had thought we left because we didn't come back to check on it, they don't send out text messages anymore. That didn't make sense to any of us, why take the phone number and send a text to begin with stating that they would text you and then tell you they don't send out text messages. Anyway, that made us have to wait longer as they had to try to get a table for us when we ask about it.. All in all a good day with family and a great waitress, I wish I had gotten her name.

The service has gotten worse over the last 4-6 months. Waitress didnt even come to our table for at least 10 minutes, then did not even get our drink orders. Seems as if . Management is not what it should be.

it was thanksgiving day. our tradition is to go to cracker barrel and eat. the food this year was not up to usual standard
but our server jessica was awesome we watched her work her tables and be engaging with her customers drinks were topped off no asking we were checked on appropriately not excessive
sure missed the mashed potatoes and carrots but understand streamline service
