Great food and we had a great waitress Emily. Next time in Florence we will ask for Emily!!!

The absolute worst Golden Corral I have ever been to!! Food that should have been hot was cold. Cold food had times it expired on it, 3:49 I was here at 5:49, 2 hours past and nobody cared. Getting a steak was nearly impossible as the cook only cooked one at a time. Dirty plates where the clean ones should be. The only good thing was our waitress was friendly and attentive. I will never come here again!! Corporate should come check this place out, as I’m a fan of any other GC I’ve been to.

My favorite buffet is Golden Corral. This particular Golden Corral is no exception. Staff are always nice, friendly, prompt, and helpful. On occasion they can get a little overwhelmed with large amounts of customers. Definitely try the all you can eat steak for super or my daughters favorite steak burgers for lunch. Largest selection of food items of any buffet I've been to. This particular Golden Corral has never left me disappointed.

The price for lunch does not match up to the quality of the food. I paid about $17 for one person including a drink. Most of the hot foods appeared to be left overs and some of the food temperatures are questionable. The pot roast was good, but definitely not worth what I paid. Many of the meats and fish looked over cooked or old. The salad bar looked decent, but the deserts did not. I'm disappointed.

We visited on 2-8-25 and it was ok. I'm not exactly sure what has happened to Golden Corral but it just seems like the quality of the food has gone down hill. Before Saturday, I hadn't ate here in probably two years but I had heard all along that it wasn't good anymore so that's what kept me away for so long. The Mac and Cheese was hot but didn't have any flavor. The fish and popcorn shrimp was fresh and hot. Overall, the food I had wasn't that bad but the selection was not good at all. Also, I'm not sure who was working the bakery but she does not like her job lol. I'm not done eating here by no means but just know this is not the best place in florence to eat.

A couple of years ago I was disgusted with this Golden Corral. My son really wanted to come here so we came back, and I have to say it has greatly improved. The food was fresh and tasty, the service was incredible, and it was very clean. I'm extremely pleased with my visit today. Keep up the good work Golden Corral you won back a customer. Absolutely love the salad bar, it had everything I wanted!

Apparently this is enough food to feed 4 people....... paid $32 for this. For $32 there are several restaurants in Florence that I could have ordered from and had more to eat.
16oz sides are very small. Small portions but hefty prices

I heard Golden Corral has gotten alot better now since new management has taken over, WRONG.....absolutely nothing has changed about that place!!! My family and I got together and Golden Corral in Florence last night to eat & exchange christmas gifts. We got put back in the far back party room and only seen our server twice, she never refilled our drinks. She asked us if anything was wrong and we told her what it was (food was hard and almost inedible), she said she would go tell a manager ASAP and then proceeded to go sit down at a table and eat afterwards. Overall horrible service, and not pleased with the food either. Oh and not to mention prices are outrageous too.....I will definitely not be back for awhile, no one wants to pay that price for horrible service & crap food. Do better. Literally. 🙃

1st time here from CA. Waitress said " oh I had you guys before". No not us. So we took as mistaken identity. When my son asked for a coke instead of the tea! She stood there looking at him. Then she got his cup and walked away, nothing said. The coke looked really light (son said taste like water) and asked her if she could change to Dr pepper? Again she stood there looking at him! He said if you don't want to it's ok! Just it taste like water! Then she said I wouldn't know I don't drink soda! She then while carrying a bunch of dirty cups had 1 full and poured into my cup. So I stopped drinking. My son then said where's your manager she replied over there and walked away. I told my son let's just go. We will get a soda from the store.

The service was great. We had our plates cleared and our drinks refilled many times. The food was cooked too much; the fried fish was too hard, the hush puppies were hard nuggets. The best taste was the frozen vanilla ice cream.
