Large selection of authentic, well-prepared dishes. Bountiful servings. Friendly, prompt service. Comfortable atmosphere. Prices very reasonable.

Mr. Huis is the perfect example of a local family establishment that you should visit. It has been a staple in my life for several years now. They know all of their regulars by name and obviously take pride in what they do.

The buffet was removed a long time ago and they never removed it from their site.

Some of the best food, and people!

I was genuinely surprised when I showed up and saw they were turning off the open sign — I thought I had missed my chance. But then someone came out to greet me and kindly said, “Just take it to go.” It was my first time here, and I haven’t been able to find Chinese food I actually liked in the area (I’m not from around here), but this place was a total win.

The customer service was amazing — welcoming and friendly, even right at closing time. Thank you for letting me in and giving me the chance to try your food. It was absolutely delicious. I’m so glad to have finally found a go-to Chinese restaurant!

I’ve been coming here for quite a while and for some reason just now decided to offer up a review. This place is just awesome. Our food is ALWAYS delicious, always fresh, and the owners are just the best. He remembers me every time I come in and is always extremely friendly.

Nonexistent customer service. Ordered at the counter. Handed the employee my card. Employee laid my card down on the counter oppose to placing it back in my hand. My order was to go. When he brought my food out, he almost dropped the bag as he was handing it to me. Not sure what the rush was, the place wasn't full at all. There were only 2 tables.

I ordered two pepper steak and onion with fried rice lunch.
The meal does not come with utensils, napkins, drink or a fortune cookie

3 Stars: Good. My spouse and I were visiting town for the AL Ren Fair, and unfortunately, the top vegan spot in town had closed by the time we left. Enter Mr. Hui’s to save the day! And save us they did. Expect the usual Chinese favorites from chow mein to spring rolls to fried rice. The wait staff was truly wonderful - give them a high five when you go!

I thought the food was good. I ordered the mapo tofu - my personal favorite - and my spouse had the mala tofu. I probably wouldn’t order the mapo tofu again, but that’s because I came in with preconceived notions of what that particular dish is. The mala tofu was excellent though.

If you’re in town, check it out. Chinese food is comfort food, and I will die on that hill.
