Took the hole family to eat at Shoneys.... checked the website to make sure they were operating due this pandemic...*said they were opened til 10 pm* . come to find out they are CLOSED!!! LIKE PERMANTLY ... SIGN said closed for remodeling but in fact not planning on reopening... ugh... all we wanted was a breakfast buffet...

The Shoney's in Florence, everytime I've been, the food and service has been good. The servers have a good attitude,.as do the managers I have encountered.If you love breakfast food, they have an awesome buffet, along with several other items to choose from.My personal favorite....the club sandwich.For desert....awesome hot fudge cake, or a hot fudge sundae.

The server was awesome and the food wasn't bad either. Do think the two managers could have helped out a little more instead of leaving the one person to pretty much run the whole dining room.

Fast, friendly service and a truly great breakfast. Update - 06-17-2019 - The size of eggs you see in this pic are not what you get now. The eggs are so small, I thought I didn't get the 3 eggs I had requested. Still the best breakfast in Florence in my opinion.

When I tell you Shoney's Skillet Cookie deserves 5 stars I am speaking TRUTH. This skillet cookie changed my life forever. Each bite of this splendid dish caressed my mouth with most gentle fulfilling touch. I feel like a new woman. Thank you Shoney's for this skillet cookie, I owe you big time for what you've done for me.

Place is rundown and smells of urine. Food on the buffet was not fresh. Waitress seemed like she had trouble with comprehension. We were the only customers (4 of us), ordered from the menu and took forever for them to cook it. Food was ok. Will never eat there again!!
