Today was the first time my husband and I had been to Taco Mama in Florence. It will for sure not be the last! We walked in and were greeted by Twana Summerhill with a big smile. Her attitude was bubbly and energetic as we discussed the different options they have there.. She gave us recommendations when we asked and even came over to the table to check on us later. We got the nachos with chicken and steak like she suggested and it was wonderful! You were able to add as many toppings as you wanted. ALL the food was so fresh and delicious! This place is a true jewel and I don’t think you will be disappointed if you give it a try.

Loved Taco Mama in Florence! We both had burrito bowls and they were super fresh and packed with flavor. The portion of chips on the side was huge—such a nice surprise! The Southwest ranch was amazing, and the queso was so good we couldn’t stop eating it. The whole place had a fun, laid-back vibe.

Apparently you go to the counter to give an order, not normally a problem, but didn't see any instructions when going in, maybe my bad. Not being informed by any of the 4 staff (talking and looking at phones, and serving one of the the other 2 customers in the facility for 15 minutes), their bad. You don't care, I don't care, left not to return.

Everything was good. Service was good. During the hot part of the day, it's hot inside. I'm hot natured so it's more noticeable for me. Others might feel just fine on the temperature.
First time eating here and I loved how fresh everything tasted. I got tacos with chips & salsa, and their street corn. (My mom got the burrito bowl) It was all wonderful. Portions are great for the price. There are so many options to choose from that it truly is what you make it and they have something for everyone. I look forward to going multiple times in the future to try various things, which is not something I usually do because I often find one thing and stick with it.

We went in for lunch just after 12:30. They were moderately busy. We ordered 2 of their Classico taco baskets (one with rice, one with refried beans). Both were very good. Service was fast; staff was cordial; all areas clean & well kept. This is a great place for a quick light lunch. PS: Remember this is not fine dining, but a great little place for Mexican food.
