A favorite for lunch and an ice cream!
Trowbridges has been a cornerstone of this area for more than 100years. Many things change but at Trowbridges, price is about all that has changed. Always a great place for lunch or a ice cream treat!

Cool local vibe old town soda shop vibe. Had a chicken on a bed of lettuce it was okay. Washed down with a vanilla malt

I've been going to Trowbridge's since I was a small child. Every time I pass through, I stop in for a chicken salad sandwich and an ice cream. Very delicious, and very nostalgic.

Food is very expensive
What a cute little shoppe. Vanilla malt was AWESOME. Chicken salad sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich and Pimento and cheese sandwiche were the perfect lunch. So delicious. Didn't get ice cream, but it looked delicious. Staff friendly and attentive. We will go again!
We are newer to the area and always love finding local ice cream places. Trowbridge’s fits the bill perfectly. The history is amazing as well as the Ice Cream. Chelsea who has helped us a few times is amazing and treats everyone like family as does the rest of the staff. It’s a must visit.
Still as good if not better than I remember when I was a kid. Best chili dogs and pimento cheese in the city
