Man oh man, There's a reason this place has been open a billion years. It's absolutely great!!! Like stepping intfo a time machine and went way back. The staff was so friendly I'm not even sure who my waitress was. 4 girls rocking out the best lunch in Florence hands down!!!! Amazing. Step into the time machine and go back to our great grandparents era. ???? Me and my mother had the Club she got chips, i had Chicken Soup ? . No wonder they have soooo many awards....

Delicious and affordable. I had my favorite tasting scoop of ice cream ever, the orange pineapple. Although the original recipe is made by a different company than the original, I loved it and it almost made me wish I lived in Florence, since you can't get it anywhere else. Highly recommend.

This is a must visit store if you are in Alabama or passing through. Incredible history, fabulous food, people, and experience.
The ice cream flavors are so original and top-notch, quality.

The city itself is beautiful, there is wilson park, couple of blocks away, paid parking available - on street and parking lots. On-street parking is plenty, and it gets you ample time for a few quarters.

We had an amazing time during our visit...
