Think TAVERN, don't think restaurant or bar. All three times we have visited we found great conversation with an upbeat music background. The draft beer selection changes enough so each time we're here there's a new brew to try. And the hot dogs are worth the trip themselves. Comaraderie no extra charge.
This was an ok spot. The atmosphere was great and the bartender that you order food through was great. Pasta was pretty good, hot dogs were actually much better next door at the Chicago dog place.
Fun, casual, good food
Fun people, relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. My fav place downtown for sure!!!
Never been here before. It is a Wednesday and lots of people. Had a veggie pizza and citrus squall beer. ? enjoyed it.

What an INCREDIBLE local place to spend time!! We had the BEST cocktails, and the service and food were AWESOME. Definitely recommend trying it out, if you are looking for a place to grab some drinks and dinner with friends. They have a shuffleboard table our group enjoyed during our visit, and a small arcade aswell. The bartenders were EXCELLENT aswell as the atmosphere. Ten out of ten experience, for sure.

If Eric is there, good luck. Power hungry bouncers ready to block paying customers holding hands because they were "holding each other up." Meanwhile, drunkards stumble out.

After having one drink at a previous establishment, we followed our friends to Chicago cafe. As we were a bit behind and are not from here, we could not tell which door they went in. The bouncer, Eric, took this confusion to mean that we were too drunk and couldn’t be served. We explained that our friends were inside to another bouncer, and when inside thirty minutes later we were denied service despite being in a state in which we would have passed a breathalyzer test. We decided to leave as he was called in to attest to our “drunken state” and you could tell that a small bit of power had gone to a small man’s head. Meanwhile, someone literally stumbles out of the bar unable to stand.

Turned away at the door because my foreign friend didn't have an American ID on her. She is in her pate 20s and her Malaysian ID stated as such. Completely unacceptable business practice, lady out front was insanely rude.

Walked in and told bartender we wanted to eat outside. He told us to pick a table and someone would be right out to serve us. They weren't busy. 5 people at the bar and two people sitting at one outside table besides us. 10 minutes later and no one had come outside to greet us, give us a menu or take our order. Great first AND last impression. We left and went right up the street to The Lost Pizza Co. where we had an enjoyable meal and friendly service.

Why would everybody's welcome The whole world's a family Yeah experience the Great Awakening right there I am Marshall l.a.w. Love always wins oh yeah five star all the way.
The worst customer service! They choose who they decide to ID and who not. The bartenders are extra rude especially been a small town bar. They favor the locals they know and don't show that southern hospitality to folks that weren't raised with. Worst experience
