this place is wonderful, we have driven by this restaurant many times in the past but today we decided to give it a try, we got the carnitas machetes and the pollo con tajadas. everything was amazing and all of us are stuffed. we enjoy supporting family owned restaurants and this place will be a regular visit. if you are looking for delicious food and are tired of chain restaurants, please don't let the small exterior fool you, it has plenty of room on the inside. this family puts all of their love in what they do and they are very friendly so please be patient.

Traveling from New Orleans to Pensacola, I decided to stop for lunch at this charming Salvadoran-Mexican restaurant. The owners, a wonderful couple, make everything fresh and from scratch, making each dish truly special. I had the chance to try the pupusas and pozole, and both were absolutely delicious! The warm service and the food made me feel right at home. Definitely 100% recommended! Don’t miss it if you're in the area.

? ?? ??We stopped by La fondita de doña Amanda for lunch today! Thank God we did ? it was sooo good. My husband had 2 pupusas (one birria beef and one shredded chicken) and 2 pastor tacos with a grapefruit Jarritos. I had 4 birria beef tacos and a real Mexican Coke. (I know you can buy them at other places, but here’s another locally owned restaurant where you can get them ?) we ate inside the restaurant, you know, to get the full experience ?

I've been here twice for lunch. The first time was really good, 5 stars, the second time was terrible, 1 star. Second time had the worst tacos ever. Just a corn torilla with a little chicken, lettuce and cheese on it. Not hot, not folded, not good. The other one was supposed to be al pastor but was chorizo. May give it another chance because of my experience the first time.

Made a long trip, four workers vehicles in the parking lot and neon open sign, door deadbolted. Called and was told they were closed because of the weather (it was raining lightly).

Definitely eat here!!! The staff was great and the food came out pretty quick. I had the Pupusas Revuelta, 2 pork and 1 bean and cheese. The waitress gave the recommendation and it did not disappoint. All of the sauces are really good. We will definitely be back for sure.

I was excited to try their food, drove all the way from Fairhope, but they locked the doors before 7:30 and the times posted say they close at 9. I called and they said “well we decided to close at 8 today” ok, but I’m in your parking lot and it’s 7:23…

We hired the services for a family dinner and a wedding. Everything was beautiful and the food was delicious. All the guests loved the equally delicious desserts. 100% recommended. I ordered the food without trying it and I was not disappointed. Yes but my expectations!!

Amazing food and hospitality! I would encourage more reliable hours online. I hated to waste a 30 min drive not knowing if they were open or not.
