Was excited to try it since he new owners and the move to a new bldg. Went today and it was disappointing. I ordered a brisket plate with jo jos and “baked beans” to go. I drove the 2.5 miles to my office to eat. Pros) 1) got the food quick through the drive thru. 2) Person at the widow was nice and courteous 3) bldg looked neat and clean. 4) JoJos were very good. Cons). 1) my brisket was cold…as if it came out of the fridge and into styrofoam serving box ….it was actually COLD 2) the brisket was “chopped” not sliced. A brisket plate should have sliced brisket….”chopped” brisket should go on a bun. 3) the “baked beans” were just canned pork and beans with some pulled pork mixed into them ….not much flavor and I do not think they were “baked” at all. All in all a disappointment…..But I do realize this is new ownership and a new bldg. I will give it a few weeks and try it one more time to see if anything gets better.

The new owner has put a lot of money and time into the business. The food was fresh. They only have one bbq sauce, and it's so so. Hope to see them do well and continue to grow.

Best barbecue in town.

I called in our order of over 100 dollars just to sit in the drive thru for 40 minutes! And then be ignored at the window for another 5 minutes

I have ordered food a few times since it changed ownership. It was a waste of money. Food was left out of the order and we could not eat the chicken fingers. So sad!

I’ve been coming to the BBQ Place for years and never once have I had a complaint. We picked up some plates today and every bit of it was just sad. The BBQ was so old you couldn’t even chew it. The slaw is so dry and has absolutely no flavor and the chicken fingers look as though they were cooked 5 hours prior.
