“This place nailed it on food, service and all of the tiny details that make a difference. I’m so happy I stumbled upon this place. I ordered the chicken quesadilla which I recommend. I got a pico de gallo to put on mine and added sour cream. The. I got the green tomatillo sauce which is just the right amount of tang and theirs is blended smooth and creamy so no bits of tomatoes for people that have texture issues. Everything was delicious AND before I left, I saw someone with a drink/slush concoction and the lady at the ordering desk had them make me up a sample to taste and OMG, yes! I ordered the AMAZING MANGONADA. It is shown in the pictures here. Oh my goodness it is a must try for mango lovers! I love this place!! “Large smoked chicken sandwich and large pulled pork sandwich- did NOT disappoint! Sauce is on the side- tried original which was very good and spicy which was PERFECT - a little heat that lingered but did not burn! Both meats were tender, juicy- not the least bit fatty or dry! Baked beans were good with addition of a little of the spicy sauce, chips and pickle as other side-good compliment to the sandwich!They offer a smoked half chicken, and brisket I'd come back to try! Lots of folks picking up Easter hams, plates. Busy small spot, but friendly folks.”

“This is a gem of a place, wish we would have discovered it on our first day of vaca versus our last. I had the avocado toast and my hubby had the Bakehouse bowl, delicious, fresh, coffee delicious and smooth. Visit downtown Fort Payne and stop here for breakfast or lunch, you will be pleased! ”

“On any given time, I would rate this experience 4 stars across the board, but tonight, just wasn't one of those nights, and a business needs to know where it comes short. It wasn't a busy night at Osaka, only had 2 grills going, serviced by the same server. That server ended up not being very proactive, and didn't come around hardly at all. Both parties had to get up to get their own to go boxes being left alone so long after the cooks had already left, and then because we had a six or more party, stuck us with an 18% tip on top of it all. Unfortunately under no circumstance did service earn that gratuity, needless to say I'll remember to never come back with anything over 5 people, or we will find somewhere else to eat going forward, this isn't a cheap place to eat, and we spent nearly $70 for 3 people in my family alone. For Osaka, I recommend a retraining reminder for your servers to be attentive to your clients, and earn that 18% gratuity they're stuck with or earn the tips they get. Everyone at the table agreed it was poor service.”

“This restaurant is not much to look at on the out side but don’t hesitate to go inside.A quaint little place, very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful with the menu.They have plates with lots of vegetables that are fresh made, not from a can. The pinto beans are wonderful and fried okra was cooked to perfection.Definitely get the bacon cheese burger, fat juicy hamburger topped with tons of bacon lettuce and tomatoes. Yum. One thing I will do next time is ask to skip the mustard and ketchup when they bring it out, only because it is so big I had to cut it in half to eat it. FYI: Put your condiments on after it is halved.The Baby bakers are little whole potatoes that are deep fried and are delicious! Like little baked potatoes. With some ranch dressing they melt in your mouth.I had to try the chocolate pie. Just like my grandmother use to make with three inches of homemade meringue browned on the top. This is real chocolate pie, nothing instant about it. If you like chocolate don’t pass on dessert, get the pie.We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The staff was over the top friendly, they even came out of the kitchen to visit. We will make the drive to eat here again.”

“Really cool atmosphere!! I recommend the Bourbonzola Sirloin Burger! IT'S MY FAVORITE BURGER EVER! Their macaroni and cheese is AMAZING! They have a great variety of non-alcoholic beverages in glass bottles and a good selection of fountain drinks, as well.”

“It is our tradition to stop here and eat after climbing all day at Little River Canyon, which is almost every weekend. It is the best authentic Mexican food in the state of Alabama in my opinion. I tried others in Fort Payne and they do not come close! Chorizo Burrito with their green sauce is my go to.”
