Cracker Barrel Reviews
I’ve been to a lot of Cracker Barrel’s across the SE and just visited the Fort Payne location this week. I’ve rarely had a bad experience at any location but this location is definitely one of the top locations I’ve been to. Food was fresh, cooked just right & served quickly. Our waitress was super friendly & efficient even though she was also covering the hostess stand as well. Highly recommend the Fort Payne location!
love the store. ppl are polite and kind. The basket of biscuits were little more on the brown side. My brother's and my broccoli🥦 was not cooked all the way and no season on it. Baby carrots and green beans was awesome. My fried steak really did not have a good season taste.
It was nice, my food was delicious..

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has received mixed reviews. While some guests appreciate the courteous service and caring staff, others have experienced long wait times and cold food. The breakfast menu, including French toast, has been served at room temperature. Some customers have reported small portions, incorrect orders, and rotten ingredients, such as tomatoes in salads. Recent visitors mentioned that their meals, like catfish cooked to perfection and smoke grilled chicken, were enjoyable, but some found the mashed potatoes too thick and cold. Despite the slow service at times, staff like Tae and the back of house manager have gone above and beyond to help guests, especially after long, rough days. Overall, the restaurant offers a variety of tasty dishes and attentive service, but wait times and food temperature can vary.
