“Would have given 5 stars if not for yesterday's experience... Wife and I stopped in for supper... I ordered the 2 porkchop meal and distinctly told the waitress I wanted them fried... When she brough my plate I noticed that the chops had been grilled... I asked the waitress why they weren't fried and she said they only do that on Wednesdays... I asked why she didn't tell me that when I ordered and also told her that should have been stipulated on the menu... She claimed she didn't hear me say "fried"... I decided to at least try the grilled chops, but they weren't fully cooked with a rubbery texture... The heavyset cook pointed his finger and got shouted rudely... The waitress offered me chicken fingers (which were good) to make up for the chops... While I was eating them my wife told me to look at the cook eating a chicken finger while he was at the grill...”

“Some of the best country fried steak that I have ever had, and they have excellent slaw dogs as well. The service is excellent and the portions you get along with it is well worth the price you pay. You can really tell that the staff here works very hard to bring you good quality comfort food.”

“I'm posting here in case it gets lost in the Easy Street posts section. We ate at Easy Street yesterday. The service and food was impeccable. I mostly only saw 2 girls serving. The place was almost a capacity crowd when we arrived. The girl behind the bar served us. She was working her tail off, managing several customers and never missed a beat. Very accommodating, friendly and attentive. Never had to ask for a refill, or our bill, nothing. Just super aware of everyone's needs around her. We both had salads that were great. I ordered sirloin with steamed vegetables. Kay had stir fry with steak and shrimp. Our main course arrived and my steak was perfectly cooked. Whatever seasoning they use on the steak (and the veggies) is fantastic! Kay loved hers and had enough for lunch today. I ate all mine 😎. The chef came out and I gave him a thumbs up. He apologized for the wait , the kitchen was short handed ( you can't get people to work anymore). The main course did take some time but we were not in a hurry. That level of culinary excellence is worth the wait. Besides, we were seated against the far wall and I witnessed chef working his magic first hand through the round kitchen door opera glass . I've been places where it was good once and bad the next time. This place has consistently been good. The staff is the key. I watched and listened. You get a solid chef (even short-handed) in the kitchen, he knew he was behind the 8-ball and he made it happen anyway. But it won't come out until it's right. You get wait staff on the floor that can juggle that many customers and do it with precision , almost 6th sense of awareness, professionalism and a smile. That is a win for the establishment and the patrons.”

“Me and my brother ate here and we loved it. Food came out hot (I had the 16 Wing Sampler and my brother had the steak bomb) Service was great as well as nice and welcoming. Atmosphere was great maybe because college football season has just begun but great nonetheless. Five stars on this review and The Gridiron Grub and Pub has definitely improved seen the last time I have eaten here ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
