“The food was delicious (especially the chicken tenders) and the staff was very nice. The only issue was we waited an hour for food. I understand there were only two people working, but if 5 out of a group of ten orders burgers, why not make all 5 at once instead of two at a time. I have worked and managed food businesses and have ran with two people many times. It’s still worth a stop and try it out as long as you’re not in a hurry and not in a big group, or coming in when it’s busy. Everything is made fresh to order. But my food was cold and we think it was because it was ready before my husbands on the same ticket. We saw it sit there a few minutes. No big deal because it was still delicious. The ladies work very hard so I don’t want to minimize that and I know it’s hard to get more help these days. We are glad we stopped!“
“Actalually went there for the Turkey, Bacon, Ranch Sandwich and it didn't disappoint. To get chips with it you had to pay extra so it was a bit expensive. Didn't try the coffee so can't really speak of it but the place seemed to be a popular place to just hang.“
“We stopped in on our way to Florida. Everyone was super friendly. Our server was super on top of everything, and the food came out super quick. The food was also amazing, great taste. We ordered the pizza and the Cuban, and loved both of them. The restaurant is also decorated so cute, we loved it all. Prices are also so beyond fair compared to what we’re used to. We will definitely stop back anytime we’re in the area.Parking: We were able to fit our truck and trailer on their lot.“
“We always come to Wildflower Cafe when we stay in DeSoto State Park. It’s a very cozy quaint little restaurant and shop!! The food is amazing, the staff is super friendly and the art is beautiful!! I usually get the quiche, but have had the tomato pie is great too! They have a sampler platter that is wonderful if you don’t know what you eat!! The peanutbutter pie is delicious!!!Highly recommend the Wildflower Cafe!!“
“This is a gem of a place, wish we would have discovered it on our first day of vaca versus our last. I had the avocado toast and my hubby had the Bakehouse bowl, delicious, fresh, coffee delicious and smooth. Visit downtown Fort Payne and stop here for breakfast or lunch, you will be pleased! “
