We were traveling in the area and stopped for lunch and went to the restroom first and it was so nasty and the dining room was so nasty we decided to not take a chance and eat there and left. 🤢

Today my wife and I drove up highway 11 from Steel Alabama to Fort Payne checking out the Highway 11 Garage Sale. Near the end of our trip, we stopped at this Jack’s restaurant for lunch. My wife ordered a double patty burger combo and I had a grilled chicken sandwich combo which included fries and a soft drink. My wife ordered the double patty burger because she says it tastes better than the single patty burger; something about the meat to bun ratio. Usually Jacks is low slow, but we got our order very quickly. Both sandwiches were really good and I liked the fries, though. I wish they would have been fried a bit more to make the outside more crispy.

The skimpiest biscuit and gravy I have ever had. Plus did not have sausage.. I would much rather go to the North end Jack’s across from Fort Payne Urgent Care.

Upon our visit on Saturday, we attempted to dine in.. however we were unable to. We stood in line along with 5 or 6 others waiting to order, along with the 3 or 4 people waiting for their food. The restaurant was very short staffed and all the while I understand this, the sole focus of the staff was the drive through and left EVERYONE at the counter unattended for. After waiting for almost 10 minutes we decided to leave and did not order as did the ones behind us.

Chicken fingers very small ,hard as a rock,fries were old,and biscuits had to been sitting there for awhile .
