This place has nice people working there. Their brisket was tough. The flavor was good but it wasn’t very tender at all. The 2 sides that my husband and I ordered was baked beans and Cole slaw, they were very spicy!! The Cole slaw had some type of red seasoning all over it and was the whitest tasting slaw I’ve ever eaten. Cole slaw shouldn’t be spicy and if it is, the menu should state that it’s spicy. The baked beans were also very spicy. I’ve got a stomach ulcer so this really saddened me to order 2 sides that go great with bbq usually & not be able to eat either due to how hot and spicy they were. The only thing I can rave about is their pulled pork!!! It was absolutely phenomenal!!! Flavor was on point, it was tender & juicy! Didn’t need any bbq sauce at all & thank goodness it didn’t because my husband and I both tried a taste of it and it was so liquidy & not that good. In our opinions we wasted $52. The older gentleman there was very kind.

Delicious! Mac and Cheese was so good. The chicken sandwich, brisket, and shrimp poboy were all awesome! And this momma REALLY appreciated the wine on tap! The kids and my husband also enjoyed the board games!!

Fantastic experience! We were headed to a different place to eat but once we smelled the bbq from the road while passing it we HAD to turn around and our dinner plans quickly changed to eat here. The service was top notch from the second we walked through the door and the food was phenomenal. Will go out of my way to come back!

First off, I did not expect to be blown away by a small roadside neighborhood restaurant. The BBQ was exceptional. Pitmaster equally. And take from me, I do a lot of smoke meats. Highly recommended. The two guys and the young teenager working there were so nice and friendly to us, I felt like we were old friends. It's a must stop if you are in Ft. Payne Alabama. Loved it!

The service was pretty slow, there was teenagers under the age of 18 working in the kitchen, i saw one eating the food as he was preparing someone's plate. I got the chicken dinner plate and the chicken was dry and unseasoned. The German potatoes were extremely good. The mac and cheese was very okay. I get 2 German Pills and they were perfect.
This is my absolute favorite BBQ restaurant, the food is amazing and wonderful service!

We come to the area from Hattiesburg to camp once or twice a year and always stop by Roadside Que for some brisket. It has been so consistently delicious year after year. Highly recommend checking this place out. Nice back porch for our pup to hang out with us while we eat.
